"The ice cream was absolutely delicious! Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect since the place looked pretty outdated, but I’m glad we didn’t let that deter us. All the flavors tasted creamy, sweet, and fresh. Coffee Caramel Oreo was our family’s favorite.Portions were sizable, with a single scoop being more like 2 scoops, and a double junior is like a split scoop."

"If you like beer and you go through Florence, this place is a must visit. Beachcomber has a great mood and about 20 beers on tap dominated by some of the best breweries in Oregon. The jukebox plays well selected deep cuts of the classic skirt with a volume that allows a good conversation. My only grip is that the bar food menu needs to be updated to some solid vegan options, but I'm sure they come. I was in bars in more than 20 countries and Beachcomber is one of a handful that leaves a lasting impression and rises to size. Excellent friendly and hard working staff."

"Rice box used to be one of my favorite restaurants. They have really went down hill. They were severely understaffed when we went, but the woman running the entire left side of the restaurant did a phenomenal job serving. The sushi and the Singapore noodles made me incredibly sick within minutes of leaving. The quality of both was very poor. The tables were also sticky and there was a huge roach near the restroom. On the way out we noticed the health score of 88. I wish we had looked at that before we sat down… I am mainly leaving this review not to slam the restaurant, but to keep someone from getting sick from the food like I did."

"Everything is massive, from the barn like building, to the massive buffet, including seating for hundreds; in this Hwy-49 roadside seafood venue. Located 8 miles south of I-20, the proximity to Jackson isn?t bad: They also have a 2nd location onsouth in Magee, if you?re heading toward Hattiesburg. The buffet has it all: catfish, shrimp, chicken, and just about everycountry style vegetable one can think of. The salad bar is impressive: including a full time server, who is constantly keepingthat bar stocked, clean and looking fantastic. The dessert bar showcases the usual southern suspects: including pecan pie,chocolate pie, banana pudding and more. Try the homemade coconut cream pie, it?s delicious. Normally, I?m not one to recommenda buffet, as they?re generally low quality, picked over, and have a sloppy appearance. So, I?ve never thought one this side ofmaybe an upscale offerings on the Vegas strip, deserved a 5 star rating(btw: those worthy, run about $40-$75). But Berry?s is adifferent story: The quality is actually quite good for a buffet in this price range; especially the desserts. But as I touchedon, it?s the approach taken here by the servers, to keep the bar stocked, clean, and appealing; that raised my rating. Sure thefood is good, but the appeal and cleanliness is excellent. Service in the dining area is tops as well. My glass stayed full, andplates taken away quickly; and all while wearing a genuine smile. For these reasons, I?m giving it the 5? And I definitely thinkit?s worth a visit?."
