"Nice place to have good Thai food. Food was good and the location next to the food truck is really amazing view. Ordered food and sat in our car and we enjoyed the food watching the lake and the mountains."

"The smoothie just wasn’t what I expected it to be. When I hear smoothie I think l thick and flavorful. This was more like an icee, but watered down. Plus they were out of several flavors so I had to choose one that wasn’t a top favorite of mine. Not terrible, but just wasn’t what I thought it would be."

"The manager Ty was such a joy he made our dinning experience amazing. Our waitress was also very nice and checked on us frequently and made sure we were happy. Food was great and would definitely recommend this place. Big Island on the Hilo side would love to have this restaurant on our island. Thank you for such a memorable meal. Much Aloha the Gonzalez Ohana.."

"Seriously the most delicious authentic tasty Thai food I have had in my life. I am vegan and the chef made the best curries and Thom kha soup. The Mung bean noodle with Garlic tofu is the best. Can?t wait to Come back. Also the owner Mina is a delight."

"Came here for a quick lunch before going to the sandbar after it was mentioned to us by our Uber driver. He said it’s not something to rave about, just a regional chain, but we thought it sounded cool! We thought it was interesting that this spot had half of a quick dining area and a sit down area. The cashiers were super duper friendly. Saimin This was inexpensive and quite filling! It had a good amount of noodles and the piping hot broth came separately. The fish cake and char siu were tasty. Since it seemed little, I added a chicken katsu. The cashier said she made sure to put it separately so the chicks stayed crispy. Chicken katsu My stand alone katsu was around $5 6 but turning it into its own combo meal with rice and mac salad is the way to go. My friend got 3 pieces for $12. We expected a dense, greasy fried food but it was actually very light and thin! It was a lot better than I expected. Its accompanying sauce is more sour than other katsu places I’ve tried. We were dying for vegetables at this point so I ate all the cabbage underneath lol. Korean fried chicken This was delicious! The boneless pieces don’t come in medium sized chunks. I liked their crunch. Loco moco This was hot, flavorful, and honestly tasted better than some other places I’ve tried. The egg was fried perfectly. I wish I tried the oxtail soup but it’s pretty pricey. Zippy’s fulfilled our needs before our long boat trip!"

"Let me first say that I love Slack Key Guitar. When I found that one of my favorite artists was playing it became a must visit. The venue is wonderful. There are views of the towering cliffs and the grounds. The food is excellent and top notch. Service is friendly and on top of your needs. There are locals as well as visitors eating enjoying the music. By the time you leave you’ll feel like family. If driving from the Waikiki side stop at the overlook."

"Waiahole Nursery Garden Center is the perfect place to purchase flowers. They even offer haku and lei making classes. My friends and I really enjoyed the class. Our teacher, Katie was so fun! She taught us a life long skill that we will cherish forever."
