"Another South Indian restaurant close to Matunga Circle. They serve the best idlis and ONLY idlis. We tried their, 1) Kanchipuram idli (for the lover of cloves) 2) Rasam Idli (for the lover of rasam) 3) Pepper Idli (yum, lots of black pepper) 4) Filter Coffee (light and milky, this coffee was the biggest dissapointment out of the South Indian Restaurants that serve filter coffee) Ambience is simple with hardly any seating, but could be cleaner. Service is fast and rates are reasonable. This is a Non-AC eatery. The menu is displayed on the wall for you to choose, they also have a menu card."

"Yet another fantastic evening at our favourite restaurant in the country. An impromptu dinner date saw us at the doors of O Pedro. I have a feeling there is something magnetic which draws us to this place anytime we are in Mumbai. Since this was a last minute plan and O Pedro is usually packed we weren’t sure of getting a table but the guys were nice enough to get us a bar seating for two. <br/ Our host for the evening was Satish and he was absolutely the best we have seen in a long time. His suggestions were spot on. I was a bit wary of the mushroom Ceviche although the Red Snapper Ceviche is my favourite dish there and we ordered that for sure. The sound of a mushroom variant wasn’t too appealing but Satish insisted we give it a try and now I am so glad we did. It is fabulous. A note. Resist the temptation to order seconds of the same dish. There is plenty of amazing food choices for mains and you need to keep some space for that. The 3rd starter was the prawn balchao with a Poi, the Goan bread. Finger licking delicious. <br/ <br/ Our main course was the Beryls fish curry, made with dried mango and kokum coconut milk. It goes best with the Goan Red Rice. Yet another combo that you want to keep on eating long after your stomach has sent signals that there is no more space. <br/ <br/ Satish suggested that we try the Chicken Xacuti curry however the Beryls being our favourite, we didn’t want to give up this opportunity of having what we love. Lo behold, he was incredibly sweet and got us a small bowl of the curry to try. It too is delicious and I’d surely order it next time. <br/ <br/ Our standard go to Dessert is the Lisboa pas-tel de na-ta. It’s a warm egg custard tart with cinnamon ice cream. My mouth is watering as I write this review. It is in my opinion their signature dish. <br/ <br/ What did break our hearts is that another brilliant dessert is not on the menu anymore. The cold goat cheese roll with pistachios. <br/ <br/ Dear O Pedro please bring this one back. The lack of this reduces your star rating from a 7 to a measly 5. <br/
Seeing our disappointment, Satish made yet another suggestion. The Aunty’s Li’s serradura. It’s made with condensed milk and whipped cream, toasted biscuit crumbles, strawberries coulis and fresh strawberries. Though it doesn’t make up for the goat cheese roll it is a terrific dessert as well. <br/ <br/ O Pedro has a terrific collection of Gin. We tried 4 different ones with elderflower tonic water. Each one was delicious. <br/ <br/ Hats off O Pedro you have been and continue to be our absolute favourite. And you have a gem of a host in Satish. <br/ <br/ 2 suggestions. <br/ <br/ 1. Get the Goat cheese roll back. <br/ <br/ 2. Open a restaurant in Delhi soon."

"I have been ordering from the Café free India since last year, I am a fan of their thupka soup and sandwiches.<br/ Thupka soup, it is clear and thin soup with noodles and vegetable broth. It was garnish with spring onion. It was a wonderful soup. The noodles were thin and had just right taste of the broth. I enjoyed the soup. <br/ Spinach corn cheese sandwich; the spinach was sautéed to the accuracy; corn was sweet and melted cheddar cheese. The combination had an amazing taste. Each bite was full of lip-smacking cheese. The sandwich was grilled to the perfection. It was accompanied with French fries. The sandwich was quite filling.<br/ Recently I found out they have Thai curry on their menu (Exotic veggies Pot Curry)<br/ Thai Curry is my favourite, few days ago I ordered Red Thai curry from them, it was one the best Thai curry I had ever tasted. Curry was thick with coconut milk. There were exotic veggie and cubes of paneer. It was a wonderful combination. <br/ <br/"

"Finally got around to visiting The Bohri Kitchen for a meal on Sunday and what an absolutely amazing culinary experience it was! Yes it was not just a meal but an experience as our gracious hosts engaged us in conversation, explaining each and every dish before we dug in. The food itself was beautifully cooked with every morsel teeming with flavour from the Kharaas (starters) and the Meethas (sweets) to the condiments and beverages. While I enjoyed every dish, my absolute favourites were the Raan in tangy sauce, the Russian chicken cutlets and the Date chutney. This may not have been my first Bohri Thaal meal but it was by far the best I’ve had. A homemade experience to the fullest!"
