"Waroeng Coffee is a newly opened coffee shop inside The Collective at Malugay Street, Makati. They serve Asian (Indonesian-Malaysian) cuisine. Mostly are snacks, but there are a few rice meals too The interior is quite simple. I think there are around 6-8 tables, including those outside for customers who smoke I ordered Kaya Toast. This is a popular breakfast toast in Malaysia Singapore. Waroeng's version tasted good. I was given with a huge toast in delicious buttery taste and coconut jam. I paired it with regular-sized Capuccino coffee that was also good. I found the latte art simple but cute I could've given this café a 5, BUT the place was swarmed by HUGE FLIES during my...read more"

"The Bagoong Rice was delicious. The Prawn with coconut was the best. &nbsp; It was creamy and very flavorful. &nbsp;I highly recommend this dish. &nbsp; One of my favorite. Also, the Mango Shake was good too."

"Service is okay. We booked for a table but our friends were late so we asked to wait. They still held our table reservations after 20 minutes of waiting for our friends. What's not good about their service is when I asked for a refill, I had to ask 2 times. Although, we ate on a heavy schedule, so I guess it's okay. What threw me off is the price to food ratio. Their dishes looked good and appetizing but taste was lacking. Food was okay, but I can't call it good."

"I didn't know a thing about this place until I decided to book it through Booky with a 300php off.<br> As in my opinion, Greenbelt is a dying mall with am horrifying expensive rents for restaurants, I was expecting, as often, to have overpriced food.<br> Service is flawless, we've been entertained by 3 different waiters, all very professionals, smiling and efficients.<br> Their menu has many items, which is not a good sign usually.<br> We got their dynamite rolls as appetizer, sauce was great, rolls were not greasy but too much spicy for my palet.<br> We got then their inasal leg, chicken was slightly overcooked but the marinade was really tasty.<br> I got their Mac n cheese for my little boy, I ate half of it, it was perfect.<br> We also tried their 4 cheese pizza, a huge success. Their dough isn't the type of dough that has some sourness or that is the typical italian style dought but in what it was (I guess a short-time resting dough), it was probably the best I had in the past two years. Toppings were good, while not unforgettable.<br> I got two cocktails at 95pesos, sangria in the typical american style, very easy to drink and a cocktail made of rum and coconut, very refreshing.<br> The atmosphere, service, food and fair prices made us spend a very nice moment.<br> Big thumbs up !!"

"Went here last weekend via a foodcrawl ,this was the itinerary for lunch. At first I thought it was another western BBQ place but when we got there it was an Asian inspired restaurant .What really like about this place is that they gave some newness to some basic Asian dishes.<br> Tried the Orange chicken bowl,Taiwanese braised pork bowl,Malaysian Grilled Coconut chicken, Pork belly bao and the Hainanese Rice stuffed chicken.<br> What I liked the bowls were they're already a complete meals ,rice, veggies, protein rolled into one.My favorite of the two was the orange chicken<br> nice citrusy flavor and paired with yang chow rice.<br> The Grilled Coconut Chicken was delicious love those Southeast Asian flavors especially complemented by the coconut cream sauce.<br> My favorite of all is the pork bao, mantau stuffed with braised pork belly and crispy pork skin. The softness of the bread ,the salty taste of the pork and the crunch of the chicharon made this dish multi dimensional.<br> The... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"
