"Fully stocked family owned donut shop. Older lady that assisted us was helpful and friendly. Place was out of maple bars but she kindly offered to pour some maple topping on a regular donut. Donuts are soft, flavorful and fresh. Prices are very reasonable and won't break the bank. I'll be back for my next donut fix...yum..yum."

"Unbelievably delicious, with organic ingredients and natural flavorings... You have to find a place that sells them in LA! I've been to Paris multiple times and the flavors are so much better in these than literally any other macaron I've ever had (personal preference, I'm sure, but believe me when I say I've tried a LOT of macarons over the years). You can actually taste the real fruit in the fruit and the coffee in the coffee... wonderful! They are lighter than your average macarons, which tend to be super bright with artificial coloring, but that's because Duverger uses actual food ingredients to get their colors and the difference in flavor is... heavenly."

"Good place for a quick Chinese fusion style meal, with more authentic options as well. When I walked up to the counter, I heard the kitchen staff speaking Chinese in the back, the ladies at the counter speak orders to the back in Chinese as well. The place really does remind me of some of the excellent Chinese restaurants in Chinatown. I was in for a nice surprise from first impressions. The main attraction is to think of this place as a more authentic Americanized Chinese food shop (vs something like Panda Express). The lunch combo is a great deal, you will definitely have more than enough, no matter how hungry you are. The food was actually quite tasty, I recommend it. The extra icing on the cake is the fact that they have some to-order dim sum. There is a lack of 'proper Chinese food ' in this area, and it seems like they dont just serve cheapo-fabulous dim sum, I really enjoyed it."

"Had a really busy day at work and thought I'd reward myself by ordering delivery thru doordash. This place has high rating so I decided to give them a try. Placed the lunch special pad see ew with beef that comes with soup and I wait. Food arrived as scheduled and the smell coming out of the packaging was intoxicating. Upon removing the bag, I noticed the sauce had leaked into the bag and to my surprise and disappointment the tray was only half filled and I immediately thought what a waste of material. Perhaps they ran out of their regular packaging. It was delicious though, can definitely taste the wok hei or breath of wok which is just indescribable. I practically swallowed the whole thing in less than 10mins, tomyum soup was nice and they included chicken in it. Impressed with this pad see ew, perhaps the best I've eaten in Oxnard/Ventura area, the one star docked is for portion. Definitely going back to try other items Ordered delivery again next day, tried the pad kee mow for lunch and it was delicious. Convinced my husband to try we got pad Thai and rad na for dinner. Both were good. This time we opted for pickup and surprised that the establishment only had Thai Cuisine as signage"

"Oxnard: a city about 60-90 miles north of LA, where your 106FM country music and tractors are their BMW. (Don't worry, if you're from Oxnard, I was shocked when I came to Oxnard on a short business trip. What will I eat in this “middle of no one?” This fish restaurant is supposed to be the place to go to Oxnard. Even city research gave him the highest rating. Let's start with the positive ones. The service was GREAT. The owners were so much more beautiful than most restaurant owners in LA. (or maybe it was due to the recent management change in 12/06 The cashier gave me a free drink as I was outside the city and even gave me a 1/2 off-deal on my Clam Chowder cup as there was something raining outside. Now the “Neds Improvement” part: Being in the “Land” has its falling knits. First, Halibut smelled as if they only caught it from the sea – this strong Seeaaa war. It might have been better if they contain some lemon in the dish. But as they promise, it was deeply fried into a PERFECT crisis. I thought Clam Chowder was a bit salty, but they were quite generous with their ingredients! Just because it's from the big city, it doesn't mean that the price is cheaper! Although I was tried to get coconut shrimp, it was $6.95 for 5 prawns. That's more than $1 for a shrimp! (Is the average? Although I am back when you are in Oxnard and have some time, you should visit the world-famous dive site near Channel Island (about 10 miles from Oxnard or enjoy the beach in Santa Barbara (30 km north of Oxnard). The coast is beautiful... about 380 miles from San Francisco."
