"I went to Coco Viet yesterday, oct 14th with my colleague. The place was not attractive from the outside, i felt a bit hesitate to come in. But from the inside it was so interesting. The combination of traditional and modern furnitures, wall ornaments and...its tidiness made me feel comfortable. The couple that work/own the restaurants were very friendly and informal. The menus are various and range with mostly vietnamese foods and of course some other Asian foods (Thai etc). I tried det of Dumpling with its sauce and chillies and they were delicious! Spicy foods! The main course was 'Pho Beauf ' traditiobal vietnamese noidle with beef served with a plate of fresh beansprouts, mints, sauce and chillies. It was delicious. The lady-owner came and talked to us friendly asking about how was the foods and she let us know that the way they cooked in Coco Viet is following its original recipe from backhome(Vietnam) to keep its original taste! This is good since a lot of asian restaurant adapting the taste of the foods with its local taste which make them different. Not to mention that there was spacious area in the backgarden, outdoor setting for having the meal with its simple yet attractive green trees and lights! The prices are reasonable. Worth to visit and try!"

"Small place, all along, with a few tables and a wide choice of dishes to take away. We took a crab soup and asparagus, a burning pleasure for the last teaspoon, a coconut cream, an imperial banana. Hot desserts are surprising but exquisite. For bookings to take away, lovers and connoisseurs of this disappointing place return. Next time we'll be in Pau, we'll come back to enjoy other specialties."

"We had dinner here on a Friday evening and were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the hosts and the quality of food. We opted for the suggested dishes - sole meunière and mixed grilled fish, both were well cooked and tasty. I asked to swap the rice for extra veg which was no problem - the veg was ratatouille. We drank house wine - red and rose, both very drinkable. I had the gourmand desert - 3 yummy mini deserts - lime and coconut mousse, creme brûlée and chocolate fondant- all good. I had the recommended aperitif and digestif, the same but good with what I had. My partner had tart tartin, also good."
