"We spend a week on Long Island and had breakfast and dinner several times at the GKR Restaurant Fast Food Centre. The owner is very friendly and speaks reasonable English. His wife cooked nice food. There is a sign with all the food you can order (see picture).... Not everything is always available, it depends on what time of day it is, so just ask him what is fresh. We tried the vegetables thali’s (80 rupees, large portion... much good value for money), Samosa (10 rupees), Pakora (10 rupees), pancake (50 rupees, comes with honey/ricins/cocos/bananan and cashewnuts), Omelett (25 rupees, has vegetables in it and comes with a coconut sauce (20 you got) paratha You can also get cold bottles of coke/sprite (600 ml) for 30 rupes. The whole food was very delicious and you get free water with every meal. The restaurant is located on the edge of the football field, next to the school and you can either sit in or outside. I would definitely recommend visiting the restaurant if you stay in Long Island. You will probably sleep at the Blue Planet where you can also eat, but it is nice (and much cheaper) to go to the village to eat now and then. It is just 15 minutes walk from Blue Planet: just follow the green arrows. Take a flashlight when you go after sunset."

"First visit: Waiter suggested chilli lobster, chilli prawns and gobi manchuria , everything had the same sauces and had similar flavor profile. We had atleast tasted prawns and gobi in the dish , lobster was a disaster, Chinese preparation completely ruined my 3k rs dish. I dint expect chilli to mean Chinese as it was my first day here Second visit: Got a good waiter (Pavan) suggested coconut. Milk curry for crabs, onion squid, fried red snapper and butter garlic tiger prawns , one was better than the other . If you get the right waiter and order the right type of food it will be amazing. If in havelock go for anju coco best seafood experience can’t go wrong"

"If you are fond of casual beaches with lots of people and snacks and some water sports activities this is your place. Though taking a bath especially with the kids is not considered as safe here . But anyway you should visit this place . There are a few snacks options are also there . You would also get to see some old Japanese bunkers and on a lighter note the selfie loving generation of ours can also offer you a live show of how the Britishers must have celebrated after capturing those bunkers a little bit of imagination needed . People must understand the significance of these historical bunkers."

"A small vegetarian restaurant situated near to junction where Aberdeen Clock Tower is located. Don't think that just because its small, that they don't deliver. I'd say they have the best Tamil style South Indian food to offer in all of Port Blair, along with Annapurna Cafeteria or maybe even a tad bit better, depending on what you like. We had Ghee Roast Masala and later idlis. Both were very fresh and hot and tasted superb including all the chutneys,, considering the fact that they are breakfast items and we ordered around 4.45pm. The service is also too good with them filling your chutneys and sambar regularly as and when it gets over on your plate. The manager or the owner(not sure) was a very pleasant person, with him catering to us and making sure we had our stomachs full and hearts satisfied. Kudos to him. We had filter coffees too, which again was as we had expected,, noiceeeeee!!! Cost wise also it ain't so harsh as some people here have told. Its only moderate considering how much other restaurants charge in Port Blair. Must visit for breakfast. Go here for the awesome tasting vegetarian food. 5/5"

"The place is good and serene. There are some local food vendors on the beach. There are a lot of places to sit and just relax. Overall, the beach was good. However, it is not advisable to go in the water as there can be crocodiles."
