"We have been back to Baan Thai three times now and every time it is fantastic. The prices are very reasonable and the food is always delicious. The staff are lovely and always make you feel valued. Would recommend this very highly to anyone in the area! Keep doing what you are doing Baan Thai because it is amazing service."

"I really like the food and groovy art here and (most of) the staff are friendly. Their coffee is great. Atmosphere is sort of retro-second hand store, and this is a really nice atmosphere. Food is vegetarian only but so interesting and hearty that my meat-eater friends still enjoy it. Good variety including yummy sweet treats too. Best tables are at the front as the back can be a little gloomy (and a little too cool in winter). Has outdoor seating for those with dogs (good move), but it could be improved with an outdoor umbrella on warmer days. They have art on show on the walls, and it's always interesting to pop in to see what's new; great way to encourage local artists by providing the exposure. An interesting little place and I know friends from other areas like to pop in for a good nosh and coffee. TIP: if you're local enough to walk there, do so, because parking can be a bit scarce on some days. Not too far from train (Coburg or Batman stations) or tram (Sydney Road) though! If you're not local, go there anyway...by any transport."

"I was impressed to find it was open for such long hours (breakfast through lunch and dinner). I had just been told at another place that I was too early for lunch. While I ate my curry lunch others were eating bacon, eggs, and sausage for breakfast. The food was very tasty, delicious and quite cheap. The portion size was good, as were the vegetarian options. The service was good. I was brought water with my menu."

"We ordered takeaway and were very disappointed. 2 x Steamed Rice , Chana Masala , Bhuna , Garlic Naan , Butter Chicken , Cheese Naan , 2 x Pappadums (4 Pcs) The tide was out with most containers only 3/4 full and meat/ chicken hard to find in the gravy.Poppadoms were greasy and unpleasant, naan was dry and spices in the Chana masala were gritty. Not nice at all. A total waste of money and not somewhere we would return to or recommend."

"One of the best Thai Restaurants in Melbourne. Very reasonable prices. Authentic taste, food is always fresh and full of the flavors you expect. Great friendly service with Thai language and English language for those customers with Thai partners. Steve and Nom are a great team. Now working together here at Phon Pi Sai."
