"Had to complain that the coffee was cold, the server and his lackey thought it would be good customer service to laugh at me. Perhaps with future customers show some empathy, apologize and ask if you their is anything you can do to resolve the...problem. Not laugh. The server then went and stood outside for a smoke. Doesn't look very professional but thats just my opinion."

"Bird tree emporium . Great find and vintage quirky. Find some old Antiques and different things . Also do they cute little tea room called flat whites gluten Vegan free cakes home made best coffee . Homely and chic. Pay bit extra for coffee they do almond,coconut and soya. Also lunch snacks . Bit cold in there high chairs for babies too and toilets upstairs and baby changing . Definately be back Aladdins cave spend hours reasonable prices one off items ."

"We didn’t actually eat here. Let me tell you why. This restaurant was recommended to us by people in Southampton and is in quite an impressive building, so we were looking forward to going. When we arrived on a Friday evening at 7.45, having pre-booked, the downstairs part was closed. We were ushered up a narrow staircase to an upstairs restaurant, which wasn’t very inspiring. The waitress gave us a photocopied one page menu sheet and told us it was their Winter menu. It didn’t have many dishes on it, but the waitress said if we wanted something specific, they would try to produce it for us. We asked for a wine list, but when we chose a bottle from it, we were told that the only red wine they had was Rioja, one of the dearest on the list. Also most of the wines on the list professed to be “Harrods” wine. We were sitting by the window, which had lights around it and they suddenly started changing colour! It was like being in a fairground! We got up and left and a waiter asked where we were going, but wasn’t really that interested. All in all, it was very disappointing."

"This review isn't about the food, but rather the poor service from a middle-aged staff member. His rude demeanor suggests a lack of understanding of customer service. Despite a swift transaction transferring money to my online account, his disrespectful behavior overshadowed the experience. Management should review CCTV footage from April 13, 2024, for validation. The staff member's attitude towards serving food, as if it were a favor, was off-putting. His rude gestures towards the payment machine were unnecessary. Overall, his behavior was unacceptable and may deter me from returning."

"Great street food. A variety including vegetarian was available. Curry chicken was very tasty as was the prawn dish. Lots of interesting drinks with herbs and spices. "I only visit now then, when visiting Southampton, so I am not a regular customer. However there is a warm welcome for everyone. I had a nice seat by the window, but there is seating further down. I had a toasted teacake and coffee....The teacake was really large, not flat like some cafes serve, it was fresh and came with plenty of butter and a small pot of jam. Looking forward to my next visit !"

"A great selection of sweet treats. The owners are super friendly and helpful. They stocked my Christmas sugar mice that my family and I love! Such a quaint sweet shop tucked away, but reminded me of of my childhood and a good place to bring the kids for some new memories for them. Prices I would say are about average, but cheaper than most of those American candy shops that are about. Plus, it 's so nice to support a small independent business."
