"We stopped in during Friday afternoon, a few minutes before closing. The staff was quite welcoming, and we were treated with a warm welcome. We had a slice of pie, warmed up, and picked up an additional pie to take home. The pie filling could be distinguished: not mushy, and clear flavors of apple, berries. The pie dough had a warm, baked flavor, without hints of shortening, and the crumble top is a good excuse to eat oatmeal! It was way different from another Grand Traverse Pie location, in Plymouth. This is the reason it is a must to get a fresh piece of pie in Traverse City, rather than the other, down south location:great service, and fresh pie!"

"Great pizza and ice cream!!! The whole family stopped in for a treat after going on a schooner trip around the bay.We got the nacho and the BBQ chicken pizzas. We were pleasantly surprised by how much like nachos the nacho pizza was, we all loved it and would suggest trying it. The BBQ chicken pizza was equally delicious with juicy chicken and and great BBQ sauce.We all got some ice cream to wash it down and are looking forward to going back again the next time we are in town."

"Moomer's genuinely has some of the best ice cream I've ever had. I got a black raspberry and cupcake in a homemade waffle cone, while others in my family bought the ice cream flight.Moomer's has a sense of an old fashioned ice cream place without big city trappings and big city prices (which makes sense of course, since it's not in a big city). You just know that ice cream this good in a big city would cost far too much!Can't wait to go back!"
