"Myself and a friend went to images yesterday for lunch- 2 prams with young babies. Great service- door opened for us on entering and leaving, tables rearranged so we could cater our prams, lots of room, breastfeeding friendly, awsome meals! Great spot for other mums and bubs to go!"

"This place, if possible has improved! The cute and lively decor and music is the same, still friendly service and groovy serving cups, but the food! Bigger and better! The amount of 'big breakfast ' is well and truely big! And i had so much avocado i may be pooping green!! Tasty little edible flowers and a wonderful nutty dukkah! Cannot praise my breakfast enough! Good job ladies x"

"4 of us ate here last night. On arrival the waiter sort of "flicked" his hand in the general direction of our reserved table. He was slow to come take meal and drink orders, didn't think to offer water and had to be reminded several times for things we requested. However, he was quite friendly and just in need of some "hospitality" education I think. The meals-from entrée through mains were great, plenty of flavour and all very different-plenty of prawns in the garlic prawns, loved the Bollywood beef, and the lemon chicken was a dish I've never tasted in an Indian restaurant before. The lamb cutlets were juicy and flavoursome and I could have eaten many more! Not the cheapest Indian I've eaten in but yummy enough that I'd go back."

"Well-kept secret. I am continually disappointed with the quality of dining in the south west after moving to the area two years ago, but India Gate is an exception. It's worked its way into my routine, heading down there about every three weeks to get a chicken sagwala with na'an and steamed rice for about $25. A fairly standard price for what is, consistently, a rich, tasty, fulfilling meal. <br/ <br/ I have also tried the butter chicken, which is a little sweeter than I am used to, but is still of top quality. The only disappointing experience I have had was when the lamb was severely overcooked, leading to hard lumps floating in the curry sauce. But one bad experience out of about 20 is a pretty good return, especially for a Warrnambool restaurant.<br/ <br/ The one thing I cannot understand is how it is usually fairly empty on most nights. I feel the people of Warrnambool are missing out on high-quality food, with pleasant service in a warm setting. Perhaps it is hard to spot as people race around the Liebig Street corner. Perhaps it is because Indian cuisine has yet to establish itself in this part of regional Victoria. <br/ <br/ Highly recommended."
