"Francine’s was recommended by our host, and we were really excited to try it. It lived up to our expectations and they are indeed the best restaurant in Windermere. The food portions were big! "Zero rating. We ordered dal tadka and karahi paneer with naan. Dal tadka was without tadka, bad taste and seemed like was frozen and not even heated properly. It looked bad too. This is the most basic dish made on daily basis in most of...the households. A restaurant that can’t even make this basic dish right doesn’t deserve to serve people Paneer was equally bad. I bet the naan weren’t freshly made, they were either bakery naan or afghani naan, I say this as while placing order we requested the naans to be crispy and not raw, the girl said can’t help, it is what it is! Understood what she said after they got served. Shame, this is the only Indian restaurant in Airlie. Eat elsewhere but here."
