"We have ordered from Saffron many times in the past when they were based in Clivemont Rd and had no problems. They somehow disappeared off of our radar and just happened to reappear when I clicked a link in an email from Hungry House so we thought we'd give it another go. So terribly, terribly disappointing. Original delivery time of 40 mins was later advised would take an extra 10 minutes no big problem. However, it took almost an hour and a half to arrive. I knew it was going to be disappointing when the delivery driver announced himself as Chutney Jacks. We told him we'd ordered from the Saffron and he told us it was the same thing. My heart sank. We have ordered from Chutney Jacks in the past and always been let down. They rarely include the salad with the starters or tikkas which for me is an important part of my diet and their potato dishes are usually far too spicy. 90 minutes delivery No salad Cold food The most offensive part of this (apart from masquerading as someone else to lure us in that is)? We live in the flats above KFC in Bridge Avenue, Chutney Jacks is only yards away in Bridge Street. Why should it take so long and be so cold? When we've ordered from Chutney Jacks deliberately, we've collected it. We didn't like it so have avoided using it. Would never use again no matter what name they were using."
