"Delicious food. It was really busy but the food still came out really quickly. Great atmosphere, lots of games and books for people to use. Wifi password didn’t work, but I didn’t want to bother busy staff about it. Food was delicious and I wish I’d gone back"

"Saw it all over Instagram, had to give it a go. Was really nice but was a bit messy to eat. Could have used a better wrap/container for the ice cream donuts. Overall was delicious though and a good summer treat! #newbalance997xconcepts"

"I’ve been here upwards of 10 times now with groups of varying sizes and everyone’s food has been consistently amazing every time. Highly recommend trying the taro black bean cakes on their starters menu, as well as their ho mok tofu which comes out set on fire. All their dishes are amazing and the family who run it are lovely. Best Thai food in Auckland"

"Super delicious, I reckon it’s a bit underrated. Everything we’ve tried were all soooooo good. Out of all the dishes we’ve tried, top 3 would be the Wild Goat Curry, Beef Brisket Green Curry, Coconut Poached Salmon. Service wasn’t the friendliest though, the waitresses were always cold and angry. Friday and Saturday evenings could be a bit rowdy with lots of BYOs."

"Very good service, we asked about a Thai local coffee. They specifically made for us...<br/ <br/ Food quality is really Thai favour....<br/ <br/ The fish cake and prawn cakes are good.<br/ <br/ Higher recommend to try the stream snipper. Normally, we will have mullet in this way of cooking. Never try snipper b4... Although this is the first time to try snipper in this Thai way, it's really tastey.<br/"

"Love Sri Pinang so much. This is easily my favourite Malaysian restaurant in Auckland and I've been coming here since the mid 1990's! Angie has always been an excellent host and all her staff have always been so friendly over the years. Some of my favourite dishes are chicken curry laksa, roti canai with curry, char kuey teow, nasi lemak and beef rendang. I'm also very fond of some of the desserts e.g. the rambutans and sago served with rich coconut milk...yummmm"

"I hate Zomato, but I downloaded the app just so I could help you all know how totally worth a visit this place is (my bf is younger than me and apparently Zomato is the app to use, and now that I've downloaded it I'm quietly impressed, but I digress).<br/ <br/ I made a booking for 10 people, and we were seated at a table in the front, separate from the main seating area, which meant that our boisterousness (aka pre-drinking) didn't unduly impact on the the other guests. <br/ <br/ Food: On the small side, but filling, and tasty. $35-45 for entree main, can't complain.<br/ <br/ Service: If this was America I would have tipped but not felt salty about it. Attentive but not over-attentive, they nailed it.<br/ <br/ Wine: Actual decent wine for $40-50ish a bottle.<br/ <br/ Summary: Whoever owns this place has done a great job of balancing price with great service and tasty, affordable food. I can't speak highly enough about the staff on the night we visited (26 Oct), thank you to them, the chef and anyone else who played a part in our dining experience."

"Great ambiance and great food ! Recommend coming here with friends to chill and yarn, order appetizers with friends and share instead of coming here for a meal. The only thing I was not a fan was the small tight tables, hence recommend coming here for snack food lounge experience over an actual meal."

"What a gorgeous place for a high tea. I went to this Cafe last to last weekend with my two girlfriends for high tea. We made a booking and requested for specific dietary requirements( different for all three), they called me back to check twice so they are very clear about that and happy to accomodate. <br/>The place feels luxurious the moment you step in and has an esthetic feel to it, very bright and has a pleasant view. <br/>The staff is really polite and welcoming. However, I didn't want to have any hot beverage and requested for a juice for which costed me a $9. Yeah, bit of a pinch might have had a champagne instead. Have to say the juice was extremely refreshing. <br/>Everything they served from mushroom quiche to finger sandwiches also their crossoint are very flavoursome. There were more scones and sweet stuff compared to savory though. For me the coconut strawberry panacoda was the hero it was delicious. <br/>We spent good 3 hours there and had an enjoyable experience. Definitely going back!"

"Stumbled upon here quite accidentally but very glad we did. <br/ <br/ Ordered the haloumi and the peanut pancake which seems to be the highlight, and for good reason it tastes just as amazing as the pictures look. The cabinet food all looked really awesome as well, would definitely have a hard time choosing next time I come! Overall just a decent, busy little brunch place in Ponsonby central."
