"Much improved since our last visit in 2019. Very good food and service. Glad I broke my don't order pizza unless in an Italian restaurant rule, as my pizza was excellent just wish they did a seafood one. Covid wise: excellent with tables well spaced and staff wearing facemasks."

"Pretty poor really. Despite booking and the restaurant being empty the table was laid for a different number of people and the waitress didn’t take steps to alter the settings. There were no knives on the table and we had to ask for these to be added. Fruit flies were present throughout the dinner and a couple were dead in the glasses on the table. Food was pretty average and inferior to other restaurants in the area for the price. Chicken was dry and salad lettuce was unwashed. Chips were soggy. Side of spinach for £5 was miniscule barely an eggcup full. The wine is grossly overpriced and discouraged us from ordering any more than a single bottle. No warning was given that the restaurant is actually in the middle of a building site at present so the sight of a jcb was all we could see through the windows. Actually upon reflection it was very poor."

"Lovely little pub, very quiet. Went for lunch with friends. Lady behind bar very friendly. Ordered food, when food came, my friends were fine, but the cheese soufflé I ordered turned out to be completely frozen in the middle. Spoke to lady behind bar who was very apologetic and took plate to rectify straightaway. Offered me a free drink, which Ideclined as still had my original drink, said she would remove cost of my drink elderflower presse) from Bill. Returned shortly with my plate, which had not been replaced with a fresh one, but reheated further in the microwave. My friend paid for lunch and I assumed cost of my meal would of been taken off bill, but that wasn't the case. My friends enjoyed their choice of meals, but I would have to say that a microwaved cheese soufflé not recommended."

"We stopped in for a quick coffee and cake, overall it was ok, the coffee and cake were fine. I think the day we attended there was a new person serving as the whole thing was a little chaotic. We saw a cream tea served and the cup of tea arrive after the customer had finished the scone. Also priority was being given to take outs rather than those who ordered doors earlier in the coffee shop. Also we witnessed a lot of going up and down stairs fetching cans of coke, when the main fridge had ran out, for some reason this happened three times with three separate cans, surely it would have been easier you to restock the fridge once. Also the background music was not that cheery which added to our desire just to leave. I think overall the place needs a freshen up and better organisation, the new person seemed sweet but was not being helped as much as they needed to be by the person in charge. If you are going to visit I would suggest leaving it to a quiet time"

"Always come here for breakfast , I'm veggie and my husband loves his meat , veggie cooked on separate grill , with a lovely veggie sausage and all the trimmings, staff lovely , coffee great , fantastic value , what more could you ask for , nice to see something other than big chain restaurants ."

"Visited Kelly’s by chance on a trip to Looe with family. We decided to eat in the restaurant so we could sit down and eat as the weather wasn’t great. We were disappointed with the service we received, most of the food was great but the fish was dry. Not sure how a fish shop can get fish wrong!"

"Amazing food and service, but ordered a Coke and it was flat, I think it came from a large bottle rather than a can or bottle and they pre poured all the tonic in a gin and tonic so you couldn’t really taste the gin"

"After a morning of surfing on the beach we were cold and hungry so decided to stop here for lunch. We were seated right away. We ordered 2 portions of nachos and a cream tea and cold drinks. The lady serving us was really friendly and helpful and the food when it arrived was excellent and not overly pricey. We would definitely return if ever in Perranporth again."
