"Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not Bloody Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service."

"We have eaten here several times before when it was Red White Wine Bistro, and we liked it. However, now that it has become Spirit Diner, the price went up, and the quality, as well as the food choices, has gone down. The choices were cold pizza, cold pasta, hot dogs, hamburgers, and a pitiful little salad bar. The waitstaff is above average, and the ambiance is as well."

"Service was fine, quiet cozy ambience, but the food really is not great. The chimichurri steak we ordered was cold and of poor quality; when we brought it up to the server, they opted to regrill it.... And so the cut became overcooked and not really edible. The spicy potatoes were solid, but a tad overdone with spicy mayo. Best part of the meal was some prosciutto wrapped asparagus, and the free appetizer bread and olive oil."

"I L.O.V.E. their avocado toast. I think tiny boxwood location is nicer, but both places are great! There is also a related dessert (Milks Cookies) place next door, also delicious!"
