"Been here 4 times in a week. First visit a male and female were working the young male was really bad and looked like he didn’t want to be there. The rest of the visits were great service. Can’t have food due to allergies the manager apparently tells his team if people come in for allergies tell them not to eat here…wow"

"Came back to this place after a previous successful visit as I have a relative in town. Hoping for the same service and the same experience I was eagerly anticipating the same as before. I think this place thrives on local tourist trade and locals...who like to watch sport on tv. I popped in for. quick bite to eat and as I went up to the bar to order a meal I heard the'f' word on 2 separate occasions with no effort being made by the staff to surpress the bad language being spoken at the bar by a guest. A girl came into the bar to join some people and she too was effing and jeffing which made me feel the place was a bit rough and perhaps I had made a mistake. I ordered Hunters chicken and waited for this to be served. When the meal arrived the chips were piping hot sadly the chicken was lukewarm and clearly had been prepared earlier and not kept warm enough. Moving from chip to chicken was a clear difference in temperature by which time the offending guest with his excellent command of the English language had moved away from the bar and was now the other side of the seating dining area continuing with his colourful language within earshot of me. Hardly a pleasant ambience in which to enjoy a meal. No one asked me if the meal was okay. I quickly ate what I could and left. Sadly despite my previous experience last June in this place where I left a good review will not be repeated. I will not be returning. It just goes to show how a place can change in the space of a few months. If you are visiting with young children be aware the clientele in this place display colourful language and the bar staff appear to be quite accepting of this. I was a lady on her own who came in with confidence due to a previous visit and as a result of this last experience will now not return. I think the landlord perhaps needs to point out to staff that repeat business is important and standards do need to be maintained and although last June my sister and I had a great experience my visit on Friday as a solo traveller was poor in comparison. I will now tell my sister of my experience and we will have to find somewhere else to eat when we next come down for a visit. Somewhere where the F' word is not part of the menu would be preferable for me."

"Dreadful service, an order has been made, it would be with us at 7:35, no sign of it by 8 so called to get an update, they told us that it had left the takeaway, no sign of it at 8:25 so ranked to cancel...order, the dame was illogical and then there was on us another restaurant that we certainly not. at least if they make a mistake, have the authorities to apologize and not the debt of the customer, will not be reused and locally heard from other people that this establishment has gone one because on the hill, but thought we would stay with them and give it a jump."
