"Three of us went to lunch on a slow Saturday. We ordered an appetizer, a salad, a pasta dish and a meat dish and dessert and a cappuccino and a tea (and two alcoholic drinks). Our appetizer came out and then the two entrees arrived. The salad never arrived. When we mentioned it to the waiter, he asked if we wanted it to go........obviously not it was suppose to be part of the lunch and suppose to have come before the entrees. It was disappointing and what he said was interesting the kitchen made a mistake . No hint of an apology or taking ownership of the error. We may have ordered badly, as the chicken scaloppini was over a bed of spinach with SOOO much garlic. The spinach was like a mash of garlic, oil and some overly soggy spinach. It was nasty. The pasta was fine nothing special at all. The waiter, I think his name was Moe, did not describe any of the dishes, did not check back to ask if everything was ok. the best thing he did was when we ordered cheesecake for dessert, he asked if we wanted half or whole. That was great as we did not know that was an option. All in all, disappointing experience. I had high expectations and they were not met not great food, not great service and I even had to ask for a clean water glass as mine was dirty upon arrival. Live and learn."

"We were not prepared for how rowdy this restaurant was! Groups are seated at long tables right next to other groups, so you have to either make friends or really lean in to hear the members of your own group speak. We were right next to the 2-person band that played a 20-minute set at top volume, including (literally) a song when everyone was supposed to stand on their chairs and wave their napkins. The food itself was quite good: hearty portions, good flavors and textures. Our server was really surly with us. He walked off having taken a drink order for only 2 of 3 people in our group, and forgot to bring things we ordered twice. And he was not at all amused when we asked to have a table further from the music--it's ok that it wasn't possible to reseat us, but at least don't be angry we asked. So overall, the rowdy energy and surly waiter overshadowed the pretty good food."

"It's been 8 months since I've been to Forlini's, and that's a sin. But the portions are so large that it only makes sense that I space my visits, right? RIGHT?Seriously, stop in for pasta I love their linguini and anything seafood.Friendly staff, full bar, old school Italian joint that's perfect for a family gathering, or even a date. Forlini's is a gem."

"I found this restaurant while looking for a place to eat in Pleasenton. The food at this attractive Napali / Indian restaurant was great. The group had an expert in Indian food in the group and could choose top quality dishes and the waitress helped with the napal meal. Everything about this cozy Pleasenton restaurant will keep us coming back time and time again. Try it, you will like it. P.S. The prices are very moderate, the tab for the four of us was $ 65,"
