"In the heart of time square it’s extremely hard to find great food and also service, Nios had both! Tucked into a new Kimpton Hotel this is a gem and I will definitely be returning for dinner before I head to a show. I’d hope to see the menu expand at some point but it had really great options and everything was delicious."

"Well, honestly speaking, it was overpriced! Our bill was almost 100 bucks for lunch without the alcohol!! I ordered the fried chicken, and it was super dry! I ate some because I was very hungry, but that was not a fresh cooked chicken. The salad was very good! If I knew, I would order the salad with protein!"

"The very very worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. My boyfriend and I went and ordered a margarita and an iced tea for myself as I’m pregnant and can’t drink ofc, gave my boyfriend a huge problem w his id even took it to the backFor whatever reason. They very reluctantly have him the drink and practically stood over us the whole meal. I wish I could give a zero rating"

"Dec. 2012. The wife and I visited Scotty's twice while in NYC for our anniversary. The first day we had brunch. She had the NY Pastrami wrap which she raved about. The wrap included cheese, dijon mustard, a mountain of pastrami in a wrap. It was accompanied by fries, a pickle and cole slaw. I had a bacon, egg cheese omelet, which was very good. It came complete with country potatoes and toast. The morning staff was very nice and attended to our every need. A+ for our morning trip.<br/ <br/ The second time we went was a late night dinner, as we spent all day running around NYC doing some Christmas shopping. That night my wife got the corned beef wrap, again with fries, a pickle and cole slaw. I went with the open faced roast beef sandwich. It was accompanied with mashed potatoes and corn. As good as her pastrami wrap was, she said that the corned beef wrap was the opposite. The wrap was soggy, the meat was tough and had little to no flavor. The roast beef was tender, hot and was plentiful. I had to get a to-go plate because I couldn't eat it all. We also got a piece of strawberry cheesecake that was fantastic. The night staff was not nearly as nice as the morning staff. The cashier was rude and the wait staff in the evening was not as effecient as the morning staff. Overall, Scotty's was a good place and we will try again when we are back in NYC, but only for breakfast or brunch.<br/ <br/ C- for our evening trip."
