"Chicken and dumplings should be CHICKEN and dumplings not just 1 piece of chicken and the rest dumplings, broccoli was undercooked, meatloaf edge was burnt. I need to stop being lazy and either cook my own food or go get it myself so I can check it before I leave with it."

"This place used to boast an authentic Greek Menu with terrific cuisine. We returned recently and found the menu to offer a fraction of its original offerings. Most of the traditional Greek fare was no longer on the menu, not even a lamb dish. Now they offer burgers! Burgers at a Greek Restaurant? You've got to be kidding! I had the Gyros Platter which consisted of a pile of meat, rice and some spinach, it was let-down... We will not return."

"We drove through SC and looked for a place to eat and came across Lizard Thicket and thought it sounded like a good place to try. We are always looking for unique places to eat while on holiday. This place has good land cooking. I'd definitely eat here again if we'd ever go through. I will tell you that when you look at the disguise, it is more like filling, not like mamas dressing in Alabama . Lima beans were the best I ever had."

"Cashier gets a zero for enthusiasm. There was no one else in the dining room yet NONE of the booths had been cleaned. The manager would not honor a coupon book we had that we had purchased for veterans' kids. She said the other KFC wouldn't honor iteither yet we bought it locally. My husband's order was wrong but he just ate it anyway."
