"Absolutely amazing food, service and atmosphere. Small, local diners feel that you can't beat. Huge portions, cooked to order and everything done right in front of you. Slow pace due to this; but you will not be disappointed! We've been here for 80 years and never see this place anywhere. If you live nearby, that would be a cornerstone. I'm often back, highly recommended."

"The catfish sandwich was delicious though there was an overpowering taste of egg which is odd. It 's hard to mess up catfish and I am a big fan so I 'm not sure what when wrong there. As someone else pointed out all the food is served in Styrofoam containers which isn 't bad in and of itself, but they would really benefit from having proper ones (i.e. with holes for the steam). The fries were incredibly bland and chewy, not fried enough. The order took a while to leave the kitchen though it looked like they had a lot of online orders to fulfill still waited way too long. I will never knock a hole in the wall and will return another time but there is a lot to improve here this place could be great and it seems like it has the history to back it up. The person who took our order was really nice and helpful."

"Great breakfast and burger joint. I was just a couple bites into my burger when I looked over and my daughter already finished hers and asked when we can come back. A little high price wise but well worth it for a local staple that's been around as long as I can remember. Gotta get myself a shirt next time."
