"I had heard so much about Diehl, I had quite high expectations. The foods exceeded these expectations. I ordered the baked steak with sage, green beans and rolls, with a salad in front and chocolate cake. Everything tasted homemade, and the chocolate cake was very chocolatey and freshly costed. The beans did not taste. The high-quality butter was served with the homemade rolls, and with the baked steak there was a lot of engraving. Basically, the food at Diehl is everything Cracker Barrel wants. I went on a Sunday shortly after the church, so the restaurant was absolutely packed. The service was understandably somewhat slow, but I still got beverage refills and had a very pleasant experience. I will certainly try something else from the extensive menu again."

"When Steve Diehl had this restaurant it was really nice place to go and enjoy yourself. Aaron Diehl has to be the most hateful looking man to run a restaurant, he is rude and some of the employees in the past said they left because they was treated bad my him and his wife. I can believe that. The place is clean and the food is good but way over priced. The waitstaff is okay not friendly like it was when Steve and Jan Diehl had the business. The owners needs a crash course in being nice, friendly, smiling and making customers feel welcomed. Gave this restaurant 3 visits all visits remained the same no changes.if you like good food but crappy management this is the place to dine."
