"We went to this restaurant for lunch about 2:30, in late September. Service was wonderful, and food was delicious. I had a coupon which gave us one free dinner and then I paid for the other. No pressure to leave after we ate. We just...sat there and talked. A few people came in, were served and left. We left with purchasing food for dinner for a couple of people back home. Thoroughly enjoyed service and food, and the surroundings were clean and nice. We will be going there again!"

"We went in for pick up so didn't stay, but could see everything was nice and clean. Service was nice and pleasant also. We ordered Beef teryaki bento box, chicken teryaki bento box and some extra a la carte sushi and mixed tempura. It all was really good, great value in their bento boxes. The only thing we weren't overly impressed with was the dipping sauce for the tempura-there was lots included but it really was tasteless and the spring rolls were tiny. Surrpised me as we usually love the dipping sauce it comes with. Their salad included with the meal was a really nice-almost like a coleslaw when you stir in the dressing, and really good soup incuded. We won't go back as a couple, as my partner does not like sushi so the spring rolls and tempura are important to him and he was dissapointed in these. But the rest was good, and I will try it again as the sushi I had was pretty good."

"When we entered Captain George's to try their All You Can Eat lunch, we were enthusiastically greeted by the owner, who took our order quickly and sat us down. It's a fish and chips restaurant, so it's as you'd expect nautical decorations, bright colours and...lots of lighting. While the seating was hardly luxurious, the fish and chips were top notch. The only thing keeping us from coming more regularly is it's proximity to one of the worst intersections in York Region... Yonge St. and Aurora Road. With the traffic lights and turning issues to the Go-Train traffic, getting to Captain George's can sometimes be a pain. And that's too bad, as their fish is great."

"If your ever around Newmarket be sure to try this whimpys dinner especially. Great service and food it's cooked to perfection. I love going to this location even though it's a little bit if a drive but we'll worth it. I'd love to go back any time. Recommending for everyone please try it out"

"Went here for lunch as I work nearby. Ordered 10oz Montreal smoked meat sandwich with a side pickle. Came out to $14 or so. The meat was pretty decent and but not anything to write home about. It was filling but $14 price felt a little too steep for it."

"For the first time, this place has fried chickens safe. her recipe is similar to popeyes, but less oily with more taste. I am impressed by the size of the portion, larger than popeyes. I have a few mozzarella sticks and fried dill pickles, delicious and fresh. the only complaining is the waiting time, even I have pre-ordered, but waited for 20 minutes. but I'm sure I'll go back."
