"We had one delivery wrong got the rest of the order the next day so only half the family got to eat the night ordered. Thought give it another go and only half order delivered and told they would send rest of order didn't arrive....after complaining got given a credit note and phoned direct and order placed no order arrived. Staff rude and unhelpful . Phone calls go to Southend who haven't got a clue what Basildon are doing and are rude and unhelpful of"

"I received my order which was wrong. I rang the takeaway shop they run through my order and realised that I had made the wrong order anyway they sent me a fresh new order what brilliant service an amazing food I’ve been using these guys for chicken takeaway for three years and the food has never disappointed and that’s coming from a chef thanks guys for the consistent quality of food and service"

"Me and becky visited Wimpy as were down in Basildon and I used to love a wimpy however it was disgusting and so so unorganised. We ended up walking out after seeing burgers heated up in a microwave. There was coffee bean residue on my saucer, we watched three staff members check the same takeaway bag, three tables were taken out and not one went to the correct table, our order was taken and then we were asked a further two times if we wanted to order and then was asked if everything was ok with our meal when we hadn’t even been fed. We bought our coffee and left and we will never return. No wonder there aren’t many Wimpys around anymore"

"Had the oxtail dish. As you will see by my reviews, I am no stranger to eating out, I have had many oxtail dishes in my life, this was unquestionably the BEST, loved the flavours, bonus was the fact there was plenty of meat and...rice not just bones with a hint of meat! Wonderful flavour and well worth the visit. Ps nice staff too."
