"Food was fantastic! I had the Buffalo Chicken Ribs which were beautiful, not too spicy for me. I also ordered the Alabama Double Cheese and Bacon Burger that comes with chips. Burger was a tad salty but still amazing. The chips had some type of seasoning that made the them taste better than your ordinary chips with salt. They also had a range of sauces, my go to was the Ranch. All in all no faults!"

"The food came quickly, the standard Boss burger were pleasant :) I have the feeling that the boss chips were overwhelmed with toppings and a unnecessary amount of bacon. The packaging made it difficult to put her burger down after the bite, and my back was missing the support she needed with the chair chairs. The mozzarella sticks, however, were nice and I would come back when I felt very hungry, but not when I wanted free water."

"Part of Geelong's hipster led revival, The Workers Club dishes up American style bbq that ticks all the boxes if you're after something hearty, unfussy and delicious. Located in an pub/live music venue we stumbled in here early one Saturday looking for a quick bite before heading to the theatre. The friendly waiter took us through the menu of American bbq favourites and we followed his recommendation of the smokehouse for 2 sharing platter that consisted of two chef choices of meat, two of our choices, coleslaw, pickles, chips and dinner roles. We doubled up on the chef's choice of jerk chicken and also enjoyed brisket and lamb ribs. Its a big portion and could easily serve three people. Everything was finger lickin good - the slightly pickled slaw cuts through the smokey marinated meat, which was tender and tasty. My favourite was the brisket, which just melted in the mouth and was especially good when accompanied by the bourbon flavoured spicy sauce that was part of a selection of condiments at the table. The chips were very good too - although I must say the dinner roll seemed a bit redundant given what was on offer. Next time I might build my own meal so I can try the chicken wings or the sausage accompanied by sides such as the bean and corn salad, potato salad, corn on the cob,and macaroni and cheese bites (?). There is also the intriguingly named Armadillo egg - a whole jalapeno stuffed with two cheeses and then wrapped in sausage meat. You might need to go for a jog after that one."
