"What a wonderful surprise !! we were hiking in the area and got hungry. Googled this place, and had a most amazing lunch. The fish was crispy on the outside, soft flavorful on the inside, just like it should be. The fries where just as good. No sign of oil or sogginess anywhere. Highly reccomended."

"I went with a couple of friends on a week night. Brisket is my favorite, soo, I ordered the brisket sandwich. I could have been more disappointed, but not by much. Note to self only order brisket at a 'smoke house ' type of establishment. I upgraded my side to a Caesar salad for $1.99. Not that the salad wasn 't good, it was OK, but honestly $1.99 upcharge for the cup of salad on a plate preposterous!! Won 't do that again, actually, I haven 't been to a Montana 's in about 15 yrs, and hopefully it 'll be 16 yrs before I eat there again."

"Just had dinner,great food and prices. I had Reuben sandwich and fries,($9.95 with a side)smoked meat the best this side of Montreal! Grey poupon mustard was a bonus.My daughter had haddock and Caesar salad $(9.95 or 2 pieces for $13.95)and fish was breaded with scrunched up kettle chips and coleslaw home made...to die for.All the food choices reminded me of when I was a kid and mothers actually cooked our meals! We shared a home made coconut cream pie that was quit large and delicious.It was $4.95 but would have cost $10.00 at the upscale dessert places. It was to die for. The service was very good,prepared by the owner and he was very friendly.Wide variety on menu and noted people were coming in for takeout. The also have a Sunday brunch menu and a friend has also recommeded we try that.Will be returning for sure,not a restaurant if watching your diet but good for a treat if you are. Try it and you will love it! I don't believe they serve alcohol,we has soda."

"We passed by this place a few times and finally tried it out. We had the fish and chips special for $3.99. Service was quick and efficient..the staff were not at all rude!! Fries were great..nice and hot, and the two pieces of halibut were tasty. Yeah maybe a bit over -battered but i enjoyed it. You can't really complain for the price. There is also an all you can eat special which we have not tried. I seem to recall a complaint that there was no tartar sauce available, but it was on the table with malt vinegar and salt and pepper. The place is set up like a diner and was really busy after we arrived at around 5pm. Overall really good."
