"Always good food here. Sad that they removed their happy hour for weekend evenings (their busiest time) and they removed the yummy fruity shots off happy hour menu (I think for Earls was the place to be on weekends but now it’s starting...to get less exciting with the happy hour changes."

"I just arrived in Medicine Hat for a long work stay, and this was my first stop on my restaurant hunt, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere and decor is lovely, not too high end, but warm and inviting. I sat in the lounge...as I was solo dining and it was just as nice in there. The service was attentive and friendly, you can tell the manager (sandy? is a favourite and makes everyone feel at home. I had the Alberta sirloin entree-medium rare. The steak was cooked closer to rare with a cooler red centre, but I prefer it that way anyways. The sun-dried tomato herb butter on top was to die for. The potatoes were so cheesy and delicious as well. I recommend the gold Cadillac margarita if you’re looking for a good cocktail as well. Lots of friendly people and a fun local dining experience, I’ll be back for sure!"

"This place is very dated and average in its decor, but that has little to do with the food quality of a restaurant. The food was ok, nothing special. There is not much you can do with fish and chips, and this place does a decent job of it. Fish tacos were good and there were other items on the menu that we obviously did not get to. The service was abrupt and not the most inviting. They did rectify an issue we had very quickly and apologized. If you want standard fish and chips, this is as good as it likely gets."

"When I visited Mario's with my friend we ate lunch on the patio, which was absolutely lovely!! Great atmosphere, comfortable closed in patio section. It is not a large area but nice enough and was super quiet when we were there. As for the food - I thought it was great! I got a pulled pork sandwich. I am very picky about my pulled pork at this was definitely one of the better ones I have had. The pork was tender, the sauce was beautifully made and tasty. Only complaint may be that the menu claimed the burger came with coleslaw and mine did not - but I could have cared less considering the deliciousness of the burger! Will have to try some of their other menu options... but if you are worried about what to choose, you know my recommendation."

"Ok so I have visited here previously . I even spoke to the owner last time telling here to open her eyes , as she is ruining her business. The food was oful this time last time it was great. The fish is put on the plate in a huge puddle of oil ( grease ) . The service is top notch crap . U wait 25 minutes for a refill of water as she plays on her laptop. Lol. This place only takes $ . The devit machine is not working but she has an atm inside which charges u an ititional 2.50 to use it . Saturday night and I was the only person in the restaurant for over 1 hour then 3 more people came . Manager said I'll be with u soon and sat their playing on her laptop. Please save ur money and support a local business which wants to be open . If this restaurant has any chance of staying open it needs new owners the food sucks and the service does too . Slow slow slow and greasy . Rude service"
