"I had some chicken tenders and fries 3/19. It was good going down. But I didn’t expect it to give me food poisoning and empty my entire stomach. I ate everything I made for my kids. EXCEPT I had this place. By Wednesday I was vomiting and had bad nausea… Pepto and Pedialyte has been on my night stand and I’ve not eaten since yesterday morning. The store manager was so rude. He called me and said, “Is this Tatiana?” When I said yes, may I ask who’s calling, he spoke very fast and asked What happened. — There was NO hello ma’am, I’ve heard you became ill. Would you mind telling me what happened. — I told him I ate there Sunday evening and started to feel a sick Tuesday, but by the time Wednesday came around I was really sick and I’m still not feeling well. He said, but we sell a hundreds of batches a day and this is the first complaint. Wow, so basically it’s unbelievable that the chicken was undercooked… I’m filing a complaint with Public Food Safety in Oakland County. If you choose to eat here beware. I’m behind on work and paid this established for food poisoning and bad service."

"Family property (Father and 3 Sons) for 26 years in Oak Park and 19 years in East Point, This place has delicious fast and great food! I really like the 4 pieces chicken dinner and ribs. The cod is also very fresh! If you love pizza, then pepperoni is delicious! I recommend!"

"Unlike the unprofessional staff (Tamia) on Taylor Street in Chicago... I was welcomed with a smile and greeted with enthusiasm by Bradon. I finally got my Chicken Pot Pie Soup and my Chicken Sandwich. My food was hot, fresh, tasty and served with a smile. I even received a spoon, napkins and crackers without having to ask. AFTER my horrible ordeal on Taylor St with Tamia (Manager) I swore I would NEVER patronize another Potbelly. BUT as they say NEVER say NEVER. OR MAYBE because I'm NOT in Chicago and I was in Oak Park made the difference. Thank You Brandon for exemplifying what a GREAT POTBELLY WORKER SHOULD DO, ACT AND PERFORM. I had a great experience today at Potbelly in Oak Park. You restored my confidence and my palette."

"The restaurant was not nearly full and I sat for over minutes listening to the bar and wait staff debate whom would serve our table. On top of this, my son wanted to take me for a Birthday Lunch' and I could not express my dissatisfaction with the visit as his feelings would be hurt. I have said before and will share again, I think the staff at this location need to go through training and customer service standards"
