"On my trip to Oxford, I was craving a vegan burger a proper one, not one of those sad things most places serve to satisfy the vegans. Found this place and ordered the burger with the mac’n’cheese in it. Glorious. An exceptional burger and excellent folk working there who left me a lovely note to assure me everything there was plant based. Next time I’m in Oxford, this is my go-to!"

"Beautiful simple selection of food and beautiful looking place. I tried some pretty every food and the quality was pretty consistent. Staff are amazing, always offer extras such as fresh Naan included in the food price and are very attentive to self-service. Would recommend."

"When kupp first opened, it was perfect, the service, the eating and the hyggling cozy layout. it was our regular visit almost every weekend. in the last months, however, we have noticed that the service is extremely slow, it takes age to place an order or to pay. some tables are offered water, but others are not. some tables have no sugar, salt and pepper and if we asked the staff to sugar, we were told that there was no so we ended up asking the guests from another table. cleanliness is bad, there are spinn weavings that have been there for months, as well as a growing dust layer on the lamps and dead, dried plants. the introduction of the new menu is absolutely ridiculous, even confusing employees. at our last visits, who regularly run out, even beer that does not belong. we love kupp and really hope that this review will help to improve the dinge and especially bring back the hygge"

"Disappointing visit, never had less than 5 stars for a Nandos and I visit very often over the country. My bottle of beer took 20 minutes to arrive. Food followed 5 minutes later and was only warm like it had been cooked ages ago. No staff to speak to, all behind the counter. I wasn't given a cockerel so no one came to ask if everything was OK. Limited menu as no thighs etc and wasn't made aware until ordering. Left without any further communication with staff from my arrival, very rushed. Shame for this central site as great location and atmosphere"
