"Stopped today for lunch to go, smelled cabbage when i walked in. Not a big cabbage fan but had to try the smoked cabbage, WOW! I 'M A FAN NOW! Wings were great. Tried to order banana pudding as a side but it 's not offered as side so opted for bake beans instead. When I got home I discovered a cup of banana pudding in the bag! And it was hands down, the best banana pudding I 've had, Ever! Can 't wait till next trip! Yours truly sweetheart"

"Had never been here before, and just decided to walk in. Fantastic! Atmosphere was great and food even better. My steak was perfect the pimento cheese app was killer but the pimento twice backed potato was so so so good. My girlfriends salmon was great as well. We think we found our new favorite place in Knox. Have to try this place if you haven't before."

"3 of us enjoyed a late night dinner on 1/13/2017, best prepared food in ages! We ordered the Butternut Squash Ravioli In brown butter with gorgonzola, Sweet Potato Steak Fries, Kale Sweet Potato Wrap With dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds and balsamic glaze, Grilled Chicken Breast with Herb Gravy with warm cornbread and brussell sprouts panzanella, and the most amazingly fresh, mouth watering Coconut Cream Pie that stole the show. Every ingredient was perfection in delicious combinations, meals were the perfect temperature, attractively arranged on the plates, and reasonably priced. Our server, Julie, was prompt and answered all our questions to our liking. Best regards to the entire staff, we will return! Brandon Becky Mary K."

"Very understaffed and out of some items due to not ordering since they are closing down for good soon. My sever brought napkins and disappeared. She wasn’t working other tables. She never returned to the dining area. I never got a refill. I had a plastic red display they gave me to let the server know I was waiting on an item that wasn’t out of the oven yet and they didn’t want me to hold up the line so this is how they handle it. Since the server never returned, I didn’t get the item. I asked the cashier to take it off my bill and handed her the plastic number as proof, but she refused to take it off and forced me to pay for food I never received due to no fault of my own. She said she would get accused of stealing money and she’s not allowed to change prices but I could get the server to change it. I couldn’t do that because she disappeared, but the cashier said she didn’t have authority to do it. I didn’t eat most of the roast beef because it was too tough to chew. I waited in line for an hour to get my food and 20 minutes to pay. A particular family cut in line in front of everyone and we ended up sitting next to them. We finished quickly due to not being able to chew the roast, but that entire family walked past us while we were in line to pay and they walked out without paying. This was a HORRIBLE experience!"

"In town for work and staying near by. Lady at hotel suggested place close by which was closed, went into archers and glad I did. The pulled pork sandwich was very tender and delicious. Tried two different sauces, Memphis and XXX Moonshine. Both were very good. In fact I used some of the spicy vinegar based XXX moonshine for the collard greens. Greens were tender, but nothing special. The smokehouse Mac cheese was good but the real star is the pulled pork. Highly recommend it!"
