"Watch Joe comes to work on my order, I relaxed and took the chilled mood of the joint. Opie expected to saunter to whistle a melody, I have my downtime when I was notified our order was ready. I put my daydream aside, I snapped the shrub in a hurry and began to fulfill one of the finer aspects of life... and stuff my face with freshly prepared barbeque! After a bite of the pulled pork sandwich I knew that I was in the presence of a real, honest, good Pit Master. Starting from obviously USDA Prime cuts of meat, Joe slowly smokes it with patience and love. No malarkey, this is the best slowly roasted barbeque pig I've ever tasted. Always. The sauce!!! Joe's sauce is made locally, what his own recipe must be and I have to say it's the best I ever had. Tangy, sweet and with an always so light kick, it's exactly what the doctor ordered. The smoked sausage was sacrificed next to my insatiable desire for an excellent grill. Being in place with the pulled pork was also delicious beyond the comparison. Smoked to perfection and in more of that from this world sauce, it was to die. When I commanded my gluttony on the last article, I had to wipe a small crack escaped from my right eye. Yeah, the scar is so good that he brought me a tear. One minute to allow all the beauty that Big Joe eats to sink, I allowed a rich sigh to escape. The chicken was just as delicious as anything else. Smoked for perfection the flesh practically fell from the bone with so much nudious tenderness I felt another tear to tear down my cheek. Dude! It's just food, I told myself when I smashed more of this sauce! What's in this sauce, Big Joe? I would be left behind if I didn't need some time to mention the vulnerable sides that accompanied the gloriously smoked meat, and perhaps the one place with place for improvement... the bread. The side of the Sauteed Collard Greens was fresh, well seasoned and good enough to belong on the same plate as the above mentioned meat products. Fresh Collard Greens have a subtle bite that you do not prepack or find about its greens. If Big Joe had a garden outside where he grew, I wouldn't be surprised. As in the south, as Collard Greens are, Cole Slaw is more of a southern stack that only over everything and is a must with Barbeque Big Joe obviously puts so much care on quality and love in making his in-law as he does smoking his meat and mixing his sauce. This was, hands down, the best Slave I had (I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record). It was fresh, crispy, obviously hand cut and had the most tasty tangy sauce found in a hover. Well, maybe the one place is with place to improve the rolls on which the sausage was sitting. It was not bad, it was simply not set near the standard of the above mentioned meats, sauces and sides. With sausage so good, the broth"

"Checked out this gem for the first time yesterday. This place is far better than Sonny’s in my opinion. My boyfriend doesn’t like BBQ but he loved it. The only bad thing I can say is that the girl was all alone and it got real busy and she ended up forgetting my drink and my side of beans. I remembered the drink but I was so full I forgot the beans. None the less, this is going to be my go to lunch place now."
