"We have eaten here for many years and always enjoyed it until yesterday. We had reservations at 5 PM. The restaurant smelled like bad fish when we arrived. We ask to sit outside. We had a great waitress and we were served quickly. However, my wife's chicken was cold and she sent it back. It came back and you could tell it was microwaved to heat it up. The wing had no meat on it, dry skin and overcooked. The mac n cheese was cold too. It was obvious this was left over from lunch and heated up to serve. Our waitress told us he was cooking a fresh batch...After her 2nd return. What does that tell you, it wasn't fresh, it was leftovers... My smash burger was not that great, but I ate it. I've had better hamburgers at Burger King. I wasn't excited about my wife's experience, nor mine. They didn't charge her for her meal. However, we won't return. There prices are very high as well. Go elsewhere to eat downtown Charlotte. There are a ton of good restaurants."
