"We came for a dinner and reserved with Fork/TA. A nice place, nice food and a very helpful waiter (our French is worse than bad and the waiter immediately switched to English). The snails were really great, salmon was very good, with vegetables on the side. I recommend the pies for dessert (we had an apple pie and a strawbery pie). We also got the discount that was announced on Fork which was a nice surprise, since we forgot about it.The location is also very good, close to the Montmartre cemetery and below the Montmartre itself.Thumbs up!"

"Absolutely charming place with great Jazz vibe. Small bistro off Boulevard St Michel. Close enough to the Latin Quarter but not touristy and with a real authentic Parisienne atmosphere. Down a slightly cramped wooden staircase to the basement and you immediately feel the atmosphere is...almost tangible. The place is loaded with character from the carpets to the wall paper and posters and arched ceilings.. Feels like something from the 1940's. Really intimate little place, I had a seat really close to the band. Being so cost, the acoustics are great. The evening I went, there was a great swing quartet. Top class jazz. The whole place is managed and served by a single hostess! Remarkable how she managed all the orders and provided really charming service. She even found time in between to adjust the air conditioning and the sound levels to suit the band. All this with a smile. Set menu for dinner with really good bistro type meals. Excellent dessert. Highly recommended for an evening out. It's certainly on my list when I return to Paris."

"A 4 members family with 2 kids. First of all it has a very friendly staff! The meal was perfect! Very fast serve! Frog ' s Legs (yes... It 's not what you think)...it has a great taste, better than chicken! Entrecote with mushrooms,veloute soup with onions. For the Greeks: The Baba desert it hasn ' t the same taste as Baba or Savaren as we know it in Greece! Not a tourist restaurant at all! French traditional kitchen in a tourist area! Thank you!"
