"This was our second visit to Bacall's. We didn't know that it was still Frosty's Bar during this last visit, so it was beautifully decorated. Every surface was decorated for the holidays, which made it quite festive. Unfortunately, the menu was greatly reduced from our first visit, which was disappointing. The short ribs and beef stew were delicious, and the waiter was friendly and attentive. The seating was very close to the next table, which was slightly uncomfortable, but completely expected in NY. Try to reserve a booth if you can!"

"Although the food and drinks are slightly over priced for a nominal entrance fee you are getting yummy food. All of our burgers came with fries and I had a delicious vegetarian meal. We heard the extremely talented Shaina Taub who has a residency at Joe’s Pub. Her original songwriting style is entertaining and who doesn’t love to hear the underutilized accordian (most of the songs were on piano. The atmosphere is cozy and old New York. The service is impeccable. We will be back!"

"No effort was made to recognize a birthday. No complimentary items. The food was bland and soggy. The busboys continued to bother us throughout the entire meal by taking our plates that still had food on it and we had to keep telling them that we were still eating. We felt like we were being rushed out of the restaurant even though the restaurant was only half full. Overall a very disappointing experience. Will not return."

"I went here for brunch because I've been to some of the other restaurants and I've had great experiences. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. Food: The food was a decent size but tasted pretty average for the prices we were paying. Service: Atrocious. No one came and checked on us and if we tried to flag someone down they acted as if we were causing them inconvenience. Price: Everything was over priced especially considering what we were getting for it. I paid $50 for tea and a pizza.Ambiance: The one positive thing about the restaurant is it's ambiance. It's really cool decor and I love all the different designs. Clearly a lot of though was putting into decorating this restaurant."

"The prices are in the high end so be ready to pay if you want a great experience. The treatment by the wait staff was over the top. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience if I had scripted it. Everyone (party of 6 3 adults 3 children)was pleased. Thank you to all who made this a very special night out!"
