"Today I went thru the drive thru. I had placed an order thru the app. When I arrived at the second window I was told the shake machine was down so being I had ordered two shakes would I like a refund or something else to drink. I selected a refund as my kids only wanted a shake. The girl said no problem. Then appears the manager Anthony who told me he can’t give me a refund because I ordered thru the app. I said it’s ok if you can’t refund my regular payment you can just give cash as that is what they normally do whenever they are out of something. He said no, I’m not giving you any refund. If you want a refund you can contact McDonald’s in the app. He said the general manager instructed them to not give any refunds. I’m confused you’re telling me you don’t have what I ordered and are expecting me to be ok with not getting 8.00 back? I explained they could modify the order on their end to cancel the shakes. He continued to deny to assist me with the refund and told me to do it in the app. I pulled up the app to show him they already completed the order on their end so there’s no way for me to cancel it out. He said I’m not giving you a refund. I even suggested a gift card because I just wanted to get on my way and get my money back. He said no. Clearly when a restaurant doesn’t have something you have to refund the customer not harass them. I can tell you I have had this happen about 15 times where something isn’t available and it’s never a big deal every other McDonald’s just refunds your order including the other staff at this location. I have never encountered someone like Anthony who treats customers like this. Being he offered no resolution besides not giving me a refund I came up with the solution to just give me 4 frozen cokes as that was an even exchange. I did contact another McDonald’s and spoke with a polite manager and I was told that the employees can refund on their end and they can also modify the order. Maybe someone should explain this to Anthony how it’s supposed to work when you don’t have an item someone orders. The rest of the employees were very friendly and helpful like they are always at this location. Everyone is wonderful, this is the first negative experience I’ve had here. I never write reviews but I wanted to make the upper management aware of how you are treating customers so this doesn’t happen to someone else. It’s a shame. Simple concept you don’t have something someone has paid for you need to refund them."

"Fast friendly service. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The food came fast, hot and accurate. I enjoyed the Col. Basket. Biscuits were at the top. Meash and beans were satisfactory. You could have been more tasteful. They serve Pepsi products. They even offered a solid military rebate."

"I ordered 2 McChicken sandwiches and 2 small pommes. Together with 8 strawberry cream pies. My order lasted about 12 to 15 minutes, which is very unpleasant when considering what I bought, although it has proven worth that McDonald gave me 2 free cakes and a free little drink. The food was On Point it tasted delicious for me. I never seldom choose to eat at McDonalds for personal reasons, but it was good to give it on this occasion to Gotta em 5 stars and be positively grateful for the situation."

"I was told my pink chicken sandwich was how it was supposed to look and the lady told me that I dont know what chicken is supposed to look like, because I dont eat as much chicken as her... I asked for a refill and they said they dont offer refillsnow, because of the pandemic... in November of 2022.. thats a good one im going to remember that one... the pandemic... sopathetic. also the fries were garbage, but thats to be expected."

"Fast service, very up-to-date facility and my food came well that if someone who visited various McDonald's know the quality is hit or miss depending on location. This was definitely a hit. For what it is worth, the bathrooms were also very clean."

"I encountered a very rude manager at the McDonald's in half moon bay. Her name is Guille. She screamed at my children in Spanish which is a language that they don't speak. Rather than telling us (their parents) she screamed at my children. They had theirshoes on but were on their way to take them off as she was screaming at them. Honestly, this is very unprofessional and uncalledfor especially when an employee alreadyasked my kids to take the shoes off. I am super disappointed with the service that Iexperienced from management. When I asked for the managers name, she asked why and I said because I did not like how shescreamed at my 2-year old and 5-year old and i was going to file a complaint. She then violently stirmed and started followingme and was about 1-foot away from me, I asked if she could step 6-feet away from me and she rudely refused as she was holding onto the seat that my kids were sitting at. This is absolutely ridiculous. Please be careful if you bring your children here,especially if they are English speaking Americans. The manager name Guille called the police on me and I waited until they cameto let them know my side of the story. My kids were traumatized from this rude woman who yelled at them."
