"Restaurant is very clean, staff friendly and professional. Familiar with Veg-choices and modifications. The tom kha soup is my favorite. The yellow curry is one of the other vegan choices; the flavor is sweet which is not my preference, but if you like a sweet entree it has lots of fresh veggies. "You can’t beat the Pingala Cafe for pure vibe. From the view of the Winooski river falls with its juxtaposed gentrified factories and bubble lettered graffiti (the best seat in the house is the one in front of this view and behind the triangular table you must squeeze past to reach), to the interior pics of guitar legends Prince and Hendrix and colorfully eclectic walls (a reflection of the colorfully eclectic menu). For my Sunday morning starter I default to the Dirty Chai smoothie with its invigorating shot of cinnamon. And though I’ve tried multiple menu items over several visits, all delicious, at this point I’d have to say my favorite meal is the Buddha Boi—a savory melange of warm roasted carrots and broccoli, pickled veggies, full bodied brown rice, and greens all slathered (featured in much of its fare, slathering is something Pingala does best) in an amazingly tasty peanut sauce. Not only is this some of the most original and flavorful food in the state, but it’s also totally vegan. The Pingala vibe, from climate to cuisine, will knock your socks off."

"It's a cute little bakery. Fairly inexpensive and fast service despite only having one employee early in the morning! I got breakfast sandwich but surprised it wasn't made to order, just heated up one from the display window. Iced coffee was great though, recommend getting it with maple flavor!"

"Unfortunately I couldn't get food as they closed early for some reason. Pulled up just before 8:30pm last night to order dinner and doors was locked, lights was off but I could still see employees just sitting down in restaurant looking at me crazy. If there was a reason for them to be closed early I'm not sure there was no hours change notice on door. I'll go back to my usual jersey mikes in stoney creek"

"I want to thank Jason and the family staff for your caring and kindheartedness. My husband Rob has been patronizing your so great !! ice cream business for several years. He became friends with Grandpa and now the family. You put up a special sign on the window “Robs Special” which is the malt he orders every time. As Robs health declines, you guys are giving him a free malt. I went to get him one today and “no charge”.
