"Picked up a 7' chocolate cake yesterday. It was delicious. Everyone loved it. Unlike store bought chocolate cakes that look like chocolate but lack the chocolate flavour this cake tastes like chocolate. Excellent service and price. Can't wait for my next celebration so we can enjoy another of your cakes!!!!"

"We had read about Steve-O-Renos Huevos Rancheros which is a featured item on their online menu and their good reviews on Trip Advisor. So we made a special trip this Sunday to try them. We were told they no longer have them yet it is...still listed online. Their website has not been updated since so the prices are considerably higher, as well. I realize that keeping websites fresh and updated takes some attention but this was disappointing. Coffee and breakfast sandwiches were good but nothing extraordinary. Service was friendly but when it gets busy it can be crowded and uncomfortable."

"My favorite restaurant in Halifax. We went around 2pm for a late lunch. At the time is was quiet. The server Rick was amazing. He gave us recommendations and the food was amazing. I had calamari in many different restaurants and this place by far has the best deep fried one I ever tasted. The sauce is so yummy. I had the fish taco and husband had the pork chop. Both were delicious. Parking downtown is annoying but it was worth it. We were only in town for a few days so we want to go again for dinner but it was packed and a 30 minute wait. I recommend that you make a reservation if you plan on going for dinner time. It could be because we tried to go on a Saturday night. But better be safe than sorry. Very fresh seafood and taste. You must try."

"Grilled cheese is one of my favorite comfort foods and having tasted so many throughout my travels, I consider myself a little bit of a aficionado. The Halifax Press ranks in my top 5 of all time. I ordered the Smoke on the Harbour and also tried the Little Italy. Nicely grilled, perfect amount of cheese (no big blobs or half-melted cheese) and quality sourdough bread. The cone shaped wrapper with the separate little pocket for the pickle to keep the juices away from the bread is also a nice touch. If I lived in Halifax, i would definitely be a regular customer.Bonus: Get the peanut butter sparkle cookies if they have them. I guarantee that it will be the best classic peanut butter cookie that you will ever have."

We had seafood fettuccine with mussels, I wish I had asked for extra bread to dip because the butter sauce the muscles came in was soooooo good lol also its accessible!Parking: It's at a hotel so there are plenty if free parking spotsWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is, my dad and mom in motorized scooters loved this place."

"Although I've often seen Tim Horton's advertizing for customers to 'Tell Tim how we've done' .. normally I don't see the point, as its pretty standard fair. Beyond a few mistakes which I've never had Tim's service refuse to correct, normally you know what to expect. And probably more so, why it made this Tim's experience outstanding. Stopping by for a coffee and talk business with a friend, the place was an appalling mess. We cleaned a table with a napkin and sat by the window trying to ignore the food and garbage left on the ledges. We stayed well over an hour and although it was never busy during that time, the customer service station remained piled with dirty dishes along with not a table being clean. Adding a dirty washroom, hopefully this Tim's isn't setting a standard."

"This restaurant serves the best dumplings I have probably have ever had. The food was to die for but unfortunately The restaurant is poorly ventilated and when we walked out, we smelled like our dinner for days after that. It may be an uber eats...situation next time! But really really enjoyed the food!"
