"Very busy place with long lines. Food did not take long. Salmon toast had great presentation but not very substantial for $12+. Not a huge fan of the sprouts especially since the toast itself was full of nuts and seeds already. Order at the front and they will bring you your food if you choose to eat it in. Good to try."

"Always thought highly of safeway as my mom shopped here for years and years ... Happy it is still here to get some fresh potatoe wedges in me this morning so Im not starving myself... but not impressed that im paying tax for them Does BC charge PST on food? In some cases provincial sales tax (PST) doesn 't need to be paid on purchases or leases. The following exemptions are available to everyone and don 't require any documentation: Food for human consumption (e.g. basic groceries and prepared food such as restaurant meals)"

"The best sourdough bread in town! Their rustico loaf is incredible, and I get at least one or two a week, just for myself. Warning: it goes FAST. I usually try to call and reserve a loaf when they open at 9am if I know that I can 't get in before 11am. They usually can 't slice the bread before 1:30pm (it 's too fresh , so just be aware of that for your timing. They have other types of bread as well, along with pastries and coffees, and one or two simple pre-made sandwiches (also delicous! Also, the staff are incredibly professional and friendly. I 've never once had bad service. Great place, highly recommend!"

"This place doesn't disappoint. Staff members are always friendly. I looooove their baked goods and brunch food as well. I haven't had anything from here that I didn't like. As much as I love my 7-layer bars and scones, their soups are a must-try. So yummy. I LOVE Nautical Dog cafe so I highly recommend coming here!"

"I would like to say thank you to the Kate and everyone that helped me get my dream wedding cake. We had a great experience, and with many hiccups along the way (covid) we finally got married! And the cake was delicious! Thank you for all that you have done, it was a fantastic day!"

"A little cramped between tables but felt safe as more of older clientele. We enjoyed the chicken souvlaki and rabbit stew. The latter has been on the original menu for decades and so delicious."
