"Not only was this place incredibly clean, and all of the toppings organized, the staff (Char, and Abdul) was kind, compassionate, and fun. The atmosphere was just warm, and inviting. Our family has been going through an impossible time, and they managed to make us laugh, and smile. They even allowed us to stay until we were done (they stayed late) I honestly can't well enough of the these 2. My entire family Thanks you"

"Amazing eating and service. easy to work. friendly, competent and competent staff. we have organized an event and bacon-wrapped sweet potatoes, salmon mousse gurken, pasta with various sauces, salmon, huh, roasted vegetables and a delicious salad. everyone has swept around eating. 10/10 would use this company again."

"Nearly frozen patty. Come on, throw it in the toaster oven for 30 seconds. Terrible quality cheese and bread. This store does the least amount of work and uses the lowest quality ingredients. Idk why I continue to order from this store. Last time I ordered they ignored the order directions completely and gave me turkey when I ordered veggie patty instead of just cancelling."

"At the risk of making a hyperbolic claim, this may be the finest burger in the Pacific Northwest. Frisko Freeze has all the old school charm one could ask for with friendly service and a no frills menu. If you aren't intrigued by the iconic neon sign, then you will be forever enveloped by their fries. While the smash burger may be all the rage today, Frisko Freeze offers a classic burger that predates any hyped up thin patty sandwich that are oversaturated in today's market. Let the airy and soft bun soak up all the grease and fats from the meat and cheese, take a bite, and immerse yourself in this heavenly blessing. There may be no better opportunity to do so within a 500 mile radius. A trilogy could be written about the burger, the fries, and the shakes, but that would also require a sequel trilogy for their seafood offerings which I have not personally tried. The fries are perfect, no further comment. The shakes absolutely crush it too seasonal offerings are available, as well as some tried and true staples. The hot fudge milkshake is just as it sounds; a classic shake flavored with hot fudge, so simple you will wonder why you have never tried it before. This is a small restaurant serving a lot of customers, so you will likely have to wait your turn. The folks working the kitchen and register are polite and expedient, so it doesn't feel like a long wait. Besides, once your food arrives the only reflection you will have regarding time lapsed will be regret that you did not eat at Frisko Freeze yesterday too."

"Just arrived in WA and was looking for a vegan gf place to eat on my way to the parks and I’m EXTREMELY glad I stopped here. Viva has so many delicious quality made items on their menu. The staff is very welcoming and pleasant. I was honored to meet the owner, Nancy, and she was so passionate and inspiring. My partner and I got the nachos and mushroom melt sandwich and WOW. I have no words. Probably the best food I’ve had and I feel good afterwards from eating such quality food items. Even the presentation of the food was beautiful. I feel everything is appropriately priced. I grabbed a ton of pastries to go for while I’m in WA for the week. So far the brownie did not disappoint! Would definitely recommend this to anyone, vegan or not. Will be stopping by on my way out :"

"Love the chowder here and the views. Heaters on the patio make for comfortable seating outside. Chowder in sourdough bowl was delicious and I’d order it again. My dinning partner had lobster chowder and unfortunately what lobster pieces were small. Complimentary sourdough bread was delicious but the butter was hard and not softened for easy spreading. Overall Dukes as always been consistently good and we’ll continue to return."

"A lively study and hangout spot located at the University of Puget Sound. ATMOSPHERE This place can get pretty loud, especially late at night so it can be hard to hear the person across from you, but I didn't mind. If you're someone who is unable to focus in loud environments, I would not recommend studying here. However, this is a wonderful place to get together with some friends for pizza, smoothies, ice cream, and other yummy snacks. They even have a little market where you can buy prepackaged snacks and junk food such as candy, Ben and Jerry's, chips, and so much more. They even have vegan and gluten free options. WHAT DID I TRY? I recommend their bruschetta! It has diced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and basil on a baguette with a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette. You have the crunch from the baguette, the creaminess of the mozzarella cheese, the freshnes of the basil and tomatoes, and acidity from the balsamic. It's the perfect snack! I tried their Will You Berry Me? smoothie, which has mixed berries, orange juice, spinach and lime juice. Their Swole Foods smoothie, which has strawberry, banana, nonfat milk and vanilla whey protein. I personally did not like both of these smoothie. Will You Berry Me? was too sour that the mixed berry and spinach flavors disappeared. Swole Foods tasted only like the vanilla whey protein. If I had to pick between the two, the Will You Berry Me? was better than the Swole Foods smoothie. Texture-wise, they were both smooth, creamy, and not watered down. Their ice cream is super cheap if you have a UPS card or a UPS student to buy you it. I think a scoop is only $1. WOW! They have a wide range of flavors, such as vanilla, rocky road, chocolate, strawberry, etc. Do not expect fancy flavors such a lavender and thai tea though! Lastly, their 10 Cookie Pizza is basically a big cookie. The cookie itself was more on the cakey side because it was fresh out of the oven. If you order some vanilla ice cream, you have a pizookie. Yummy! SERVICE Because this place is run by student workers, they are all very friendly. In addition, the food is typically served in a timely manner. When it's really busy or when it's exam/finals season, there can be a wait time. I once waited an hour for my food, but it was worth it because the food was yummy! OVERALL I gave them 4 stars because not only is their food yummy, but they also have a diverse selection of snacks, and because their employees are friendly."
