"I just purchased a veggie sandwich and it was cold. I came back to ask them to redo my sandwich. The owner tells his employees to put it in the oven. I told him I wanted it to be replaced. He told me no because nobody can make the veggipattie sandwich hot. I eat the veggie patty sandwich from many different locations including this one and it has always been hot. I highly do not recommend any one to eat from this location. The owner feels that customer service is not priority."

"I ate there on Friday night. The place is “old” school but not in a good way. I usually like the Chinese American style food this place just didn’t do it for me. The waitress was fine but the food lacked the right cooking technique and the flavors just never made it to the table. The owner had a lot of photos displayed with him and various celebrities I doubt they ate at the restaurant and were still able to smile for a photo."

"This is a great place for an old fashioned breakfast! The pattern on the tablecloth, red and white, reminds me of an old time picnic. Simple and easy to use silverware. Absolutely delicious biscuits! The sweet tea was just right. I really liked the texture of the napkins. Worked well. Back to the biscuits, the only thing that could have been better is fresh jelly or jam instead of prepackaged, don't get me wrong, it was still good."

"Updated 1/9/17: This was my favorite restaurant since childhood. I was so happy there was one in Baton Rouge when I moved here in 1995. I 've had a tradition since I was 14 of going to Copeland 's on my birthday. In a few weeks I will celebrate my birthday there for the 26th year in a row and will keep up my tradition! I love everything but my favorite item is the Bayou Broccoli appetizer. Soooooo good. Been getting it for over 26 years. People say you don 't go to Copeland 's to get a burger, but I disagree since the Copeland burger is one of the best burgers around. It 's on a croissant with their signature tiger sauce which is awesome. I am sad that they changed the show string French fries to big fat fries though. The Catfish Acadiana with a side of red hots is another one of my favorites. But nothing is bad here. I did try the crab cake on zucchini 'pasta ' today which is a newer item. Flavor was excellent but the zucchini was cooked down a little too much so it did not look like pasta when I make it at home. It also wasn 't spiraled to look like spaghetti it was more like shredded. But the sauce was great. Service was always great, and then it went down for a few years, but it has improved 200% in the last year or two (new management maybe? . They are undergoing renovations now so I 'm curious to see how it will turn out."

"Ordered online delivery for my girlfriend , have never tried the place and it looked good. placed my order was $15 for one cookie and two scoops of ice cream. delivery guy was nice and it got here quickly but the cookie was small, cold, and hard as a rock. i ordered the vegan birthday cake cookie and the birthday cake ice cream. the ice cream was chocolate, so i double checked my order to make sure i didn’t order that and sure enough i didn’t. all in all would not recommend . highly disappointed and dissatisfied."
