"We stop into this little restaurant for local fish and chips for my son! Well first time fish chips came green and yellow beans, the smallest pcs of fish we have ever seen in a province surrounded by ocean. This fish and batter seem to...be pre cooked and finish cooked later! Non of the food was hot! In comparison we purchased fish chips at ferry terminal for 12 for 2 pcs that were twice the size of the fish here that I paid $10 for 1 pcs. My liver and onions was not even hot but barely warm, this first time I have gotten one pcs of thin slice liver, I have order liver onions a lot in restaurant and I have always gotten 2 pcs of sliced liver. The mash potatoes were lumpy and had the taste of boiled potatoes, I also got yellow green bean. I got a 6 oz of coffee that was never topped up and was consumed before my meal arrived. We also ordered club house with poutine. The club house was buttered and no mayo or miracle whip on it. The curd cheese was still chunks as the gravy wasn’t barely warm. No coleslaw side for any dish. No tarter sauce! All in all this was very disappointing. Small portion but going rate for larger portion control."

"Since moving to the Island just before Christmas, I am going to say this is my 20th visit. I love this place. It embodies everything that is wonderful about Atlantic Canada. Eating here is comperable to sitting down in someone's home and having a meal. Anna is in the kitchen toiling away, every day, making everything from scratch. Sandy is wonderful, offering that quiet, charming, capability, that one either has, or they don't. The food, and the ambiance make this a true Maritime gem (if you're in for lunch, try the Sheppard's Pie). Don't miss this if you're in between the bridge, and Charlottetown. Cheers"
