"Y'all ever seen the little diner on TV where the food is delicious, everyone knows everyone and the old guys sit around gossiping? Now you can experience it for yourself. In Gastonia there are 2 Ball's Grills that I've visited and believe me this is the only one you want to go to. I work 3rd shift and I can have a juicy cheeseburger (and crinkle cut fries) and still get my other people breakfast. My son raves about the Livermush which I was told comes fresh from S.C and is very tasty. I've only had Cheeseburgers (so far) and they have been delicious both days. I went yesterday and then again this morning to see if yesterday's awesome food was just a happy accident but it was great again today. Don't believe me, go see for yourself."

"Subway on Hudson, NEVER AGAIN. No onions. It is right next door to Food Lion! Sales are subs and salads and NO onions. Look at these toppings, the tomatoes are all ends. The bread was all mushy, like it wasn't baked thoroughly. And the girl behind the counter headed back through the doorway in the lime green wall, has beautiful dreadlocks past her behind. No headboverung, hair clip, hair net. Those lovely dreads just a swingin'."

"My husband, my son, and I all love Ben and Jerry ice cream! My husband and I love that today was a free cone day at the scoop shops and we did go and get some ice cream today and we could go through as many times and get a free scoop of ice cream and it was so good."

"Excellent breakfast! I had a pancake plate with scrambled eggs, bacon, and a side of potatoes. Everything was bursting with flavors. It was clear that the cooks have a passion for what they do. I had coffee, which was free with the dine in option. The coffee was hot and simple cream and sugar were available, which fit with the home style food. I only wish they had ice water, or iced tea available for service. They seemed to only have bottled drinks which means no refills and no ice. It?s July so a nice iced drink is a must. We will definitely stop back in again. I can?t wait to try some of their other offerings!"

"Super cute place with lots of fun options. The shaved ice cream is super cool and super tasty. Can take a bit of time to prepare but it's so worth it! They have a cute wall where kids (or adults) can draw. Definitely recommend for anyone!"
