"I visited on sat 12/08 and i been to this cafe a few times now over past couple of years and its normally when my own coffee machine is being serviced but i must say my experiences here have been on a gradual decline sadly. The menu and food on offer is a bit outdated and stale. im not a happy camper when served up cold bacon and sausages that are obviously cooked well in advance these were just hard, cold and inedible (You could snap the bacon in half it was that hard). You charge a premium so as a customer you want to be able to walk away with having a great experience all round."

"Lunigiana is quite a spacious gelato place. The range of flavours include comforting favourites and some interesting creations. Creme brulee is so incredible and I will definitely have to have it next time. Cookies and cream was also really nice. The gelato is very smooth and creamy, and the flavours tried so far have been really strong. Pricing is also good (starting at $4.50 for one scoop). For me, it's a tad sweeter than I prefer though."

"Best middle eastern bakery in Dandenong. Cooks fresh and yummy food. Has groceries as well. Home made hummus is amazing. Spinach feta triangles are wow. A1 special Pizza with cheese is real good. Meat pizza is good too. Coffees are strong if you like heavy dose of caffeine."

"Love the sparkling coffee cherry tea. The flavours popped in my mouth and was really amazing and gave me a new coffee experience. Decor reminds me of Eastern Europe. Friendly and knowledgeable baristas"

"Zimt is in my hood: the ‘hood of magnificent plane trees, the boutique style Coles Local, and the middle class to those with a bit more, of Surrey Hills. Zimt has a great corner pozzie with outdoor tables to share with our puppies. My very favourite products are their sour dough loaves and baguettes. I never fail to have them on my dinner table when friends or family come around. But Zimt really specialize in all things baked: big cakes, little cakes and quite a few savoury pastries. We got a really pretty birthday cake from there a few months ago. This afternoon I just felt like Devonshire Tea for one, while I read a few pages and took in the rainy day view. It’s very cosy down the front facing Union Road. Tea is a real pot with real tea leaves, by the way. The scones are not huge which means you can have two and not feel guilty. They are nice and warm (by way of microwave) which gives them the tiny weeniest bit of chewiness as opposed to a crumble. In fact I might try them cold next time. Anyway, no big deal, everything was lovely- $12.00 of peace and love. Totally worth it! It’s one of those “happy places” you can always rely on their friendliness and consideration."

"Love this place. Our Special Place is our cafe of choice when my husband and I have breakfast every second Friday when we both have time off. Great coffee and food. Love the service. Easy to park right outside and nice atmosphere. Met my girlfriends there for breakfast today...they now love it too!"

"If you love cakes (like me) this is a great place to visit. So many cakes to and the coffee is better than average. Not the best coffee but more than does the job."
