"I came here since I was a little girl, best chocolate long john I had ever lived in my whole life! we come from chicago and get some dozens back to home, everyone here agrees that you have the best chocolate long johns on the world! we have also tried other donuts and from here everything is phenomenal! wonderful people! thank you!"

"First of all, I believe the lady who waited on us was high on something. She was talking so fast you couldn’t understand a word she said. She didn’t give me back my change at the register and said she would bring it to me later. When we went to get our drinks, there was no ice. When I got my salad, I had no fork. She said she would bring me one. About 10 minutes later, the other girl working there came and finally gave my change back. Then she told me they were out of forks and just walked off. In the meantime my daughter and son got sandwiches which u could tell the cheese and meat had been sitting out way too long and the french fries were not done at all. Finally, the girl that had waited on us found a box of forks and brought me a fork. We just threw the food away and left. I usually never complain about my restaurant experiences, but this was the worst service and food I have ever had."

"Alisha makes the best cakes, pastries, cookies and desserts. Everyone knows that. But let me tell you, she also makes a chicken sandwich with onion marmalade and jalapeño ham that is outstanding. I ate one several weeks ago and I'm still thinking about it. If you haven't tried Dalishas you need to go NOW!"

"If you love family owned/operated, authentic, stick to your ribs food this is your place. If you love anything nostalgic, memorabilia, military, movie related this is also your place! Side note featured on American Pickers just a yr or so ago. The people are homegrown, friendly, call you by your given name or names like “Honey”, “Baby”, and other such terms of endearment. The chicken is better than your momma used to make, hot fresh donuts and country ham it’s reasonably priced for the experience! Open only on Sunday so get there while you can! Nothing on the menu that isn’t steeped in southern fried tradition hospitality is FREE!"

"Delicious food and friendly service. I have the schuldenburger and bacon ei and cheese keks for lunch, both very good! also picked up a few mini-muffins for 75 cent each. good visit, will come back when I'm in town!"
