"Amazing food and service with a great selection of wines. We enjoyed the sea scallop (yep singular and worth it) and trout ceviche appetizer. I had a delicious rockfish dish and my husband had the delectable duck confit. Iâm used to going to restaurants of this quality and paying over a plate so the lower pricing was surprising for how outstanding the food tasted and was presented. Finished our meal with a wonderful bread pudding with what mustâve been a homemade banana ice cream and some really good coffee as well. Server was very knowledgeable about the wines and food. I have no complaints or criticisms for them. would go again."

"The bookworks is a fabulous coffee shop and a bookshop. Your staff is friendly and friendly staff and the owners are wonderful and make it so pleasant to come here. And Tom in the bookstore is just so friendly and picks up the best stories for children. It is the perfect place to keep a label class! Delicious coffee and tea make this the place to be. C"

"I have lived in San Jose for 18 years. Many weekends we will go to other nearby cities. The latter we spent in Monterey and on the way back we made a stop to have lunch and relax a little more in this coffee place. What a pleasant surprise: The place occupies the entire corner, it has tables inside and two large sofas. Lots of variety of coffees and teas. I ordered a matcha and my husband a mocha with some oatmeal cookies. It also has tables on the street, we sat there and stayed until sundown. I love supporting small or medium-sized businesses, run by families, I prefer them to large franchises. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing time"
