"A rather small menu, but everything is pretty good. Staff are really informed about the drinks and were very helpful in finding one you like from their selection. The food comes immediately and fresh every time. The biggest mistake is how loud the atmosphere is. There are no solid barriers in a completely open and echo dining area. The chairs scratch out loud on the cement floors, the voices of the people stand out from the walls, and the touching of cutlery can be absolutely overwhelming. The restaurant and the toilets are always very clean. The distance between the tables is large. And the location itself looks very beautiful. You just need an urgent silencer."

"I'm from West virginia and moved to Ohio when I was around 10. I took it, of course, when I lived there. Every time I go home to visit, I make it a point to stop and get a Ron or Thundering stove. Best cookies ever!!"

"A breif aside before the main reveiw: American Classics takes credit cards. I notice that because several restaurants in Spencer are only cash/check. The American classic is exactly what its name implies, a traditional American diner. The service is fast and friendly, while the food is excellent in American style. I came to breakfast and maybe had the best chicken roasted steak I've ever eaten. The bread was delicious, the sausages rich and tasteful. If you are looking for a big greasy spoon with many small town charm, American Classics is for you."

"Wow, @benjamin schneider, could you be more of the stereotypical disgruntled coworkers? If there are so many other Rave reviews for this location, do they believe that they achieve something with their passive aggressiveness? I worked from the beginning in this bakery and loved it. from the atmosphere to the setting (except in the case of bumps like ben) to - above all - the food. she has grown this place to a bloomington hotspot and although I work there, I enjoy eating here at my free time! She is in such a demand that we had to extend our brunch hours to the whole weekend and we still sell each time! make you please yourself and stop them by, choose any baked and experience for yourself, why they don't just go next door to baked to enjoy such delicacies."
