"I ate brunch in avenue restaurant and had a pleasant experience. it was very quiet when I had visited, but many more people came to the end of my meal. I would like to try more from the menu for dinner or even for drinks, as the restaurant is in st james with great location and ambiente as well as large service. for my brunch I tried the eggs benedict, which is one of my favorite, the lobster mac’n’cheese and a caffe latte. "A wonderful restaurant with a really great special offer fixed price menu plus glass of excellent Cuidad Real wine. The Spanish waiters and Maitre D' were excellent friendly, helpful and attentive without being overly so. Really this restaurant as always in our experience delivers excellence and deserves its reputation. It is not in the most popular of locations but is really conveniently placed for easy access for get togethers with people coming from north, west and south London."

"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a quirky name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we dealt with them before we did. We expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. We asked for hot tea and she said they had gone out that afternoon. Our chicken tikka was all sauce and very little chicken. We sent it back and told them to add more chicken. The shrimp dish was the same - all sauce and hardly any shrimp. The sauces over the rice were pleasant, but overpriced for how little you got. We enjoyed the starter of Mo MO and the Chana Masala. I love Mango Lassi, but they just poured it from a 1 gallon container. It was probably pre-made in the supermarket. Don't go here when we have such a large and diverse Indian community with excellent restaurants across the region."
