"The inconspicuous restaurant is not an architectural miracle. inside it is rustic with a lot of wood dressed already much more cozy. we visit this restaurant for years and eat there three-four times in the year. our expectations were met again yesterday. the condition was very friendly and helpful. eating, feldsalat, cordon bleu xxl and a cream carving were very delicious. the food was served quickly and friendly. the map is varied and diverse. the wine card is also very varied with reasonable praises. there are different wee in bottle quality in open-slime. for small fixed there is a smaller room and with larger there is a large room which does not seem to be so."

"Wir waren jetzt innerhalb von einem Monat zweimal im Ambiente essen. Das Ristorante ist in der Nähe des Inselspital gelegen und sehr gut mit dem ÖV oder sogar nach einem kurzen Spaziergang vom Bahnhof Bern erreichbar. Das Lokal selber ist recht gross und aussen mit einer grossen Terrasse ausgestattet. Die Strasse die vor dem Ristorante vorbeiführt könnte durch den Tag recht belebt sein... Drinnen ist es sehr freundlich und der Empfang war herzlich. Die Tische sind nicht zu nah und es hat genügend Platz am und um den Tisch. Wir wurden an unseren reservierten Tisch begleitet, gestern Abend währe es jetzt nicht nötig gewesen einen Tisch zu reservieren. Im vordern Teil des Restaurante war es recht gut besucht, wir sassen im hinteren Teil und es war überraschend ruhig und wir konnten gut miteinander kommunizieren. Wir bestellten verschieden Salate, Pizzas und Pasta. Das Essen war sehr gut und wurde zügig und gekonnt serviert. Das Tiramisu rundete den gelungenen Abend ab und als Überraschung wurde uns noch vom Patron ein Grappa zum Café offeriert. GracieWir kommen wieder.R.R."

"We wanted to try fondue which cost 37 CHF on the menu. Once we got the bill, we learned that it was 74 CHF instead. Nowhere on the menu it said that the price is “per person”. We’ve been to many restaurants in Switzerland and all the other restaurants always highlight if the price is per person in their menu. Regarding the fondue, we didn’t enjoy it that much. Maybe it’s just us though. Definitely not worth 74 CHF."
