"Went there for lunch and had the 'small ' Schnitzel. Ended up being a generous portion with 2 smaller Schnitzel. Food was good and service was efficient. They are known for their Cordon Bleu and others at the table had different ones and enjoy them (warning: generous portion so come hungry)."

"Wenn man hier ist weis man was man bekommt. Ohne Platzreservierung ist es oft schlecht einen Platz zu bekommen, das spricht ja schon alleine für dieses Restaurant! Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen mehr als reichlich. Wir kommen immer sehr gerne hierher."

"The "zum scharfen Ecken" is a average restaurant. You are looking for a quick lunch for a reasonable price you are at the right place. Don't expect to much, it is really no a special place, but still okay. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for a business lunch as it is way too casual."

"Overall the food was O.K. Our waiter was the friendly gentleman with a beard. When asked if we could order other vegetables with the fish, he unfortunately didn't give an answer and just left. Later, when you asked if we could have a little more ice cream we would of course have been happy to pay for it , he replied that the portion was predetermined and that this was not possible... too bad. Same for another question: unfortunately no answer, he just ignored us. At the end of the payment he ! grabbed our bank card, which was lying on the wallet on the table, and paid for it himself a no go! "I was already a few times in this house eating, both alone and as a couple or with the family. the kitchen excellent, price / performance top, and the service is very friendly and attentive. what surprises me a bit, why this highly recommended local with tradition is visited by so few people. people. a tip of me...goes to eat in the rössli rothrist! the visit is worth all the cases."
