"A nice restaurant located in the beautiful Cala D’or marina. The restaurant is a pleasant place to eat considering the number of restaurants that are very touristy and overpriced in the Cala D’or area. My family and I arrived at 8pm and tried to order the seafood paella, unfortunately we were told by the waiter that there was at least an hour wait on paella dishes as they had re so many requests for the dish. So if you’re planning on ordering paella perhaps arrive early. Unfortunately the rest of our food also took over an hour to arrive, which was not really acceptable. We had 2 young children with us and both were very hungry by the time we received our food at 9:20pm. The restaurant offers average food at a premium price but compared to other Cala D’or restaurants the food is better than average. Not great but better than most… but comes at a cost!"

"Came here to enjoy an evening alone with my partner, whilst grandparents were looking after baby. There were maybe only 2 other customers in sight. Thought this was due to being early evening. We ordered our drinks.. no problems so far! Then we ordered food, which came in decent time. But that 's where the good bits end. Before I start talking about the food I 'd like to point out that both of us have worked in the catering and hospitality industry for many years. Myself being a chef of 11 years from the age of 15. The highlight was the bowl that contained 4 meatballs with (what seemed like) a nice fresh tomato sauce. Med veg was average, as well as the caprese salad (hard to go wrong with tomato and mozzarella). However.. patas bravas arrived with a pot of what looked like a dark tomato ketchup.. correct me if I 'm wrong but that 's not really authentic Patatas bravas. Like most I 'm sure would, I was expecting a nice fresh tomato sauce like with the albondigas (meatballs)... or at least not something that resembled ketchup from a bottle. Anyway.. after we had finished eating, the waitress came over to clear the table and asked if everything was okay. I politely mentioned that I was not impressed with the patatas bravas. My reasons being the potatoes were dry and not of a particularly nice taste. And the fact that the sauce is literally from a catering sized bottle. I don 't want to be paying money for something like this when I 'd rather be eating my daughters potato dinosaurs and ketchup at home. The waitress called over the German owner who went and grabbed the bottle of tomato sauce from the kitchen and told me that it was special sauce and that if I wanted fresh tomato sauce I should have requested so when placing my order! Ridiculous! He then continued to talk loudly whilst standing over me and my fiancé saying it 's our problem and not his problem but if we didn 't like it then we didn 't have to pay for them. We asked for the bill and the Patatas bravas was not included.. fair enough. Except it wasn 't until then that we were told the card machine wasn 't working and all I had on me was my credit card. Not ideal with the costs of withdrawing money using a credit card abroad. So we also complained about this saying it was extremely poor service! The German owner called my fiancé a crazy woman to which I told him to have some respect! He then, right in my face, looked me up and down and said for you?... Micky mouse! From here it got a little bit heated because I refused to pay after the way we were treated so he squared up to me and also my partner, at one point, and became VERY aggressive saying he would call the police. At the same time the chef from the kitchen also appeared, pretty much with fists at the ready! Felt like I was in an episode Ramsey 's Costa del sol nightmares! Long story short.. HA! He tried the credit card machine and it worked. All that drama over a plate of deep fried potatoes and rubbish tomato ketchup!"
